Congratulations to the winner of the 2011.1 FMW Wrestling Fantasy League, JEFFREY! You did not let me down.

It was definitely a fight that strangely managed to be both unexciting and close. Alberto del Rio was Jeff's only moneymaker, with his main players not being maximized. But it was Ezekiel Jackson who managed to cost the matchup for Leon, which he had almost won through Sin Cara. Nevertheless, both men deserve to be finishing first and second, with strong performances all season.

And now that you know who fills up the last two places in the draft order, pick trading is officially open! Moves have already been made before the official opening, and because they were already agreed upon by all the involved parties, they will be the first transactions honored. The pick trading period ends at Friday, September 16, 11:59 PM EST, and you should already have named your keeper by then, because the Draft will be held the following day.

The past two seasons have started on PPVs, and I'd like to continue that trend. So blame the PPV for being three weeks into the month.

Meanwhile, I'm also going to use this thread to post important roster-related information. You know, things like title switches, debuts, Kings of Wrestling appearances... that kind of stuff.

I'm keeping Cody, duh.

That said, I'm putting my Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston, Wade Barrett, and any of my odd-number round picks (#2 picks) on the trading block for any good offers.

Anything on Team Butters is for trade. nothing is sacred.

Congrats to Jeff on the win. I was rather lucky that none of your other stars powered out some high scores this week, yet a 1 point victory is a great final. Bigger and better next year though.

Anyway can someone tell me if I'm missing the point, but with only 1 keeper it's only worth trading one superstars and draft picks.

It might be worth having two keepers as that would increase the value of trading now.

Well, the main thing I did hope to achieve was more picks getting traded, and less with the players. But it's also for guys who don't have any legit big stars (like Bryson or Slegna, whose biggest names are Sheamus and Daniel Bryan, respectively) to try and trade up with someone like Butters, who is shopping two valuable champions in John Cena and Kelly Kelly because he wants a higher pick.

But yes, having one keeper does limit your options. The ideal thing to do with this system is to go for that one player from another team which you know you want, if you don't already have a good keeper. If I were you, I know I could do better than, say, Sin Cara.

Pretty sure it'll be The Miz but with U.S. Champion Dolph Ziggler still around...

The Usos were screwed by management.

Management is also mistreating Dolph, you know this. US Champion being booked like shit ever since Bryan dropped the title.

I have a suggestion for the draft, Romeo, that in the lead-up to draft time if the people available to all of us drafting were tiered, like if you had all the people that should be considered 1st round picks in the "A" Tier, guys should definitely be considered in a "B tier", and garbage drafts/last round picks in an "F" tier. I think it'd be cool to have, it'd make planning out who to draft in each round easier to sort, because you'd know who to expect to be left in after each round and such.

If I recall, he did a draft primer last time. Assuming Ro does it again, he just won't be doing it now because shit could change drastically within a month.

1) PX, you either don't pay attention or have a very short memory span. I did a draft primer last time, which people will attest to as being pretty accurate and helpful.

2) I will be doing it just right before draft day after trading period ends and keepers have been finalized, like I did before, for the reasons Slegna stated.

On the rumor mill today: Mistico may be returning to face Hunico in a War of the Sin Caras, after the latter's heel turn this week. If that happens, then you know that means there's going to be another draftable Sin Cara.

For those who still need a bonafide keeper, JoMo and Daniel Bryan are still on the trading block.
