| Figures that they bring back the talentless hack and the charismatic black hole, but Harris stays in FCW. Damn. Also, despite the fact that it almost garuntees a victory in a few weeks, why the hell is R-Truth in a WWE Title match | |

| What? two weeks and neither of my Rookie's scored points? Instead of saving me like it did last season, I think NXT will kill me. | |

| It's just a bad week for the Rookies and some of the Pros, AJ. The booking was centered more on a couple of burgeoning Rookie-Pro feuds, and if your name isn't Darren Young, Jacob Novak or Lucky Cannon, you're pushed to the periphery a little bit. | |

| Or Titus O'Neil. Nigga gave me 8 points and is currently the difference in my match against Nicholas. | |

| In fact, this week, all the Rookies that Ro thinks are big point winners, got a combined total of -1 points. Also, my money is on Titus to win this thing. | |

| It helps to have them in the right position, though (O'Neil was in HOT for me, hence 8 points). | |

| Actually, if you've been *really* listening to what I've been saying, the NXT Pros are the big-time point winners on the show because they hardly compete. The Rookies are second to them because they are the competitors, and thus they are harder to predict. Titus O'Neil got 8 points because he won both a match and a challenge. Rookies would've gotten more points if there was an extra challenge; instead, there was only one as the show focused more on in-ring action and actually building storylines. *gasp!*
Scores after Superstars and SmackDown:
Leon - 25 (+1 Beth Phoenix, +5 Ezekiel Jackson, +3 Evan Bourne, +6 Sin Cara, +10 Jack Swagger) Romeo - 2 (+3 Wade Barrett, 0 Byron Saxton, +1 Tyson Kidd, -3 Kofi Kingston, +1 Vladimir Kozlov)
AVO - DQed Butters - DQed
RCA - 7 (+3 Miz, +2 Dolph Ziggler, +4 Layla, -1 Big Show, -1 Jacob Novak) PX - 6 (+1 Cody Rhodes, +2 Rey Mysterio, +4 Chavo Guerrero, 0 Randy Orton, -1 Kelly Kelly)
SOS - 12 (+2 Alberto del Rio, +4 Yoshi Tatsu, +2 Maryse, +1 CM Punk, +3 Vickie Guerrero) Panzer - 7 (0 Darren Young, 0 Lucky Cannon, +3 Alex Riley, +4 Justin Gabriel, 0 Christian)
Slegna - 14 (+2 John Morrison, 0 Santino, +3 Daniel Bryan, +8 Titus O'Neil, +1 Triple H) Nick - 7 (+2 Matt Striker, +3 Heath Slater, +1 Ted DiBiase, +1 Conor O'Brian)
And I guess that's that for Edge.
Leon's SmackDown-centric team benefitted the most from this Friday's show as almost all his guys were in the right places. In contrast, mine were definitely not. I handed out another free +1 to ALL members of the SmackDown roster, which definitely made for at least one interesting result.
RCA manages to squeak past PX by one point. Layla was in the right position (...no pun intended), and the Big Show loss in the main event battle royal was mitigated by the free +1. Chavo Guerrero *almost* propelled PX towards the victory, but it was the untimely win of Kelly Kelly which brought him down, as the free handout was not enough to get the draw.
Speaking of the main event, Christian is now your other #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. At this point it is clearly unpredictable as to who WWE will pull the trigger on; recent booking dictates that Alberto del Rio is the company's favored option, but then again it's just as likely that the Edge retirement may create another Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio scenario and that Christian could win the title on a wave of emotion. It could really go either way on May 1.
Slegna easily takes the top spot with his win, proving further about what I said that his team is the best drafted team this season so far. SOS trails behind him with only 5 points. Two losses give us our first real tie between myself and Nick at #4 with 23 points, while Leon claims the biggest jump to the #3 spot with his big win this week; not a bad achievement for someone who was zero last week.
Line-ups are due before RAW.
-Week 3- Romeo vs. Butters Leon vs. PX AVO vs. Panzer RCA vs. Nick SOS vs. Slegna
Standings as of Week 2: 1. Slegna (2-0-0) 34 (previously #2) 2. SOS (2-0-0) 29 (previously #3) 3. Leon (1-1-0) 25 (previously tied for last place) 4. Romeo (1-1-0) 23 (previously #1) 4. | Quiet, no-shower. Scores after SmackDown: Romeo - 12 (-1 Kofi Kingston, +1 Vladimir Kozlov, -1 Tyson Kidd, +6 Wade Barrett, +7 Byron Saxton)Butters - DQed Leon - 9 (+1 David Otunga, +3 Ezekiel Jackson, +2 Evan Bourne, +4 Sin Cara, -1 Jack Swagger)PX - 7 (-1 Cody Rhodes, +2 Rey Mysterio, +1 Chavo Guerrero, +5 Randy Orton) AVO - DQed Panzer - DQed RCA - 17 (-1 The Miz, +4 Dolph Ziggler, +1 Layla, +11 Big Show, +2 Jacob Novak)Nick - 4 (-3 Heath Slater, +2 Ted DiBiase, +5 Conor O'Brian) The Battle for First PlaceSOS - 12 (+5 Maryse, 0 Yoshi Tatsu, +1 Vickie Guerrero, +1 Alberto del Rio, +5 CM Punk)Slegna - 3 (+2 John Morrison, -1 Santino Marella, +2 Titus O'Neil) Extreme Rules is slowly taking shape right before our very eyes. Tonight's big news is that the WWE Tag Team Championships have changed hands back to the 2005/2006 powerhouse team of Big Show and Kane. Luckily for Eddie, Show was in the right spot, and that means 10 whopping points for him, saving him from what looked to be a defeat at the hands of Nick. And unfortunately for Nicholas, he had Heath Slater - it would've been a closer battle if Slater was on Cold. Fortunately for him, though, the Corre seems to be falling apart, and it looks like Slater and Justin Gabriel will be on the short ends of the stick as management seems to favor Wade Barrett and Ezekiel Jackson more. Speaking of Barrett, Kofi Kingston continues to fall further down the totem pole. (That said, I'm officially putting Kofi on the trading block.) While one must lose in order to put over the other, it's becoming pretty clear that the powers that be are starting to overlook Kofi. The Draft is this Monday, and it's surely going to shake up our game as people making switches are definitely going to get that post-Draft mini (at the very least) push. SmackDown needs a top face, so I expect Randy Orton to go to the blue brand. That, however, will not mess with Extreme Rules match-ups as I have read that the Draft will take effect on the May 2nd RAW, the day after the PPV. Slegna has been knocked down from his throne at #1 as he is no longer undefeated - SOS is now the only one with zero losses so far. Slegna's loss can be blamed on Daniel Bryan not being booked and Triple H starting to follow Undertaker's career pattern; his benchwarmers, Drew McIntyre and Michael McGillicutty would've served him better as they would've scored this week. -Week 4- PX vs. Romeo Butters vs. Panzer Leon vs. Nick AVO vs. Slegna RCA vs. SOS My ultimatum to AVO and Butters still stands - if you don't show up next week, I am giving your teams away. Also, somebody needs to get a hold of AVO. Standings as of Week 3: 1. SOS (3-0-0) 41 (previously #2) 2. Slegna (2-1-0) 37 (previously #1) 3. Romeo (2-1-0) 35 (previously #4) 4. Leon (2-1-0) 34 (previously #3) 5. RCA (2-1-0) 24 (previously #6) 6. Nick (1-2-0) 27 (previously #4) 7. PX (0-3-0) 17 (previously # 8. Panzer (0-3-0) 14 (previously #7) 10. AVO (0-3-0) 0 10. Butters (0-3-0) 0 | |
