Also, since we can't make changes to the teams anyway, it would be good for transparency if we officially registered our teams.

I believe that once the divisions are finalized, before the first matches, Sleg will want a registered list of your teams, so he has them. There was still debate on making them public or not. I think.

Why shouldn't we make it public? It's not like we'll be able to get away with changing our lineups behind Sleg's back anyway.

Once sign-ups are locked and divisions/schedules are set, we can post the teams.

The idea of the teams being public and fixed is a bit silly to me. If I pick a team and its clearly not functioning as I like, why should i be stuck to it? Part of my original team included a scizor that I couldnt use effectively, so I dropped him. I'm not a fan of having set teams, or indeed making my team fully visible, because then everyone will know what beats my team and such

Or you could try your team out first against random people to see if it works cohearantly.

But no one's going to be able to change theirs anyway. Everyone will be stuck with the same teams, with the same weaknesses.

The way to ensure that this is implemented fairly is that if people PM their teams to Slegna, and he would reveal the teams at the same time, when he chooses. That way no one will be able to build a team to counter someone else's.

Funnily enough, this was the exact same suggestion I was about to propose. And all of you would have my word that I wouldn't remake my teams any differently.

EDIT: Good to hear Nick. Scheduling will officially suck though. Is everyone cool with having a division with 5 people and another with 6?

You don't need two, but you may prefer the flexibility. Though I agree, I keep on getting stuck 3-4 Pokemon and then getting frustrated, starting a new team, then having the same shit happen again.

As I clarified to Dylan last night and was reminded by TBM this morning, just send me the names of Pokemon on the team. Originally I had thought of making people include Natures/EVs/Moves for anti-cheating purposes, but then I figured the competition would be more fun if what sets the Pokemon were running were kept secret.

So yeah, the goal is to start this Saturday, so teams need to be in my PM box by 11:59 PM PST Friday night. That gives you 34 hours to get teams in. If not, you will be disqualified for the first week of play.

A day to put two teams together? Fuck me

Yknow Sleg when I did WFL I decided the FMP's myself, I just mentioned it to Jaro briefly, I'd say just go for it
