Year Long WWE Prediction Contest

So, I love the prediction contests for the PPVs, and thought about making one for the Rumble. Then I thought, "Hey this is the beginning of the year, this should go the whole year!"

So That's what I'll do.

Starting at the Rumble, I will post a prediction thread for Each PPV, with a pretty standard format, then keep track of how everyone does.

Maybe I'll bug graphics people to make graphics for winners, or maybe I'll bug staff to put FMPs on the line or whatnot.

At the very least, people can have fun and have bragging rights over each other.

So, just got confirmation, there will be FMPs on the line, both for each PPV and the year long league.

Im going to steal a chunk of the scoring from other places, but basically it will come down to no sign-ups needed, you post a prediction, and then I keep track of it.

What I'm going to do is not require anybody to sign-up. You just post your predictions in the thread I'll create right after the last SmackDown before each PPV, and I'll keep track of everyone's lifetime stats. Just need to figure out scoring... Thinking the top 8 get points, 8 for the winner, 7 for second and so on. Not sure yet.

Any suggestions, guys?

I like the idea of only doing it for PPVs, since weekly show cards are often made up in the early stages of the shows themselves and are by nature hard to predict.

Very true, plus spoilers mess things up with that.

MY two ideas so far are either what I mentioned before, giving set points based on standing, or just totallying everyone's points from each PPV for the overall score. Still not sure.

Yeah, I kinda did this last year, but stopped caring when only 3-4 people were posting predictions each show. I will be participating in this though, hopefully there's a better turn out than last time.

I'm hoping the lure of FMPs will hike turn outs.
