I thought about bringing this back after it died last year. So here we are. Sorry about it being up so late, I got busy in the middle of the week.
Also, if people wouldn't mind helping by amending and making the rules section more robust, that would be appreciated.
So without further ado:
Rules:1) Fill out the answer form as provided. Any extra doohickeys, your entry won't count.
Only one so far, I can't think of anything else. This is where you guys come in (See above).
How To Fill Out The Damned Thing:Match Prediction Example:In the answer form, for each match, you have three separate question marks, like so:
- Code:
-
?-?-?
The first one corresponds to who you think will win that particular match. So, for example:
Match #1: WWE Championship
Brian Kendrick (A) vs. Paul London (B)
If you thought Kendrick was going to win, you would mark down as such:
- Code:
-
Match 1: A-?-?
The second question mark is for
how the match will finish. The coding is as such:
(1) = Pinfall
(2) = Submission
(3) = DQ
(4) = Count Out
(5) = Knock Out
(6) = No Contest/Draw
(7) = Referee Stoppage
So if your prediction was for Kendrick to win by pinfall, the entry would now look like this:
- Code:
-
Match 1: A-1-?
Finally, the last question mark is for whether there is interference. Marking down "Y" for yes and "N" for no is plenty sufficient.
Ergo, if you thought Kendrick was to win by pinfall after interference your final entry for that match would be as follows:
- Code:
-
Match 1: A-1-Y
And then repeat this for all matches on the card.
NOTE: This is just an explanation, and your actual answers shouldn't be a step-by-step process.
Bonus Questions:Ten bonus questions are given below the match prediction section. The bonus questions aren't mandatory, and it is your choice how many you wish to answer.
Royal Rumble Bonus QuestionsRoyal Rumble specific bonus questions allow you to attempt to predict where Superstars enter and exit the aforementioned match.
Scoring:In the match predicting section, predicting the winner correctly grants you three points, the finish gives you two and the interference one point. No penalty is given for wrong answers.
For the bonus questions, a correct answer gives you three points, but a wrong answer takes away two.
For the special Royal Rumble Bonus questions, predicting exactly where a superstar enters or is eliminated from the match gives you two points, and placing a superstar one spot away gives you one point. For example, if I predicted John Cena to come out in the number 4 spot, and he did come out in the number 4 spot, I would get 2 points, and if I predicted Cena to be eliminated 5th and he was actually eliminated 4th, I would get one point. No penalty is given for wrong answers.
Prize(s):Bragging rights and maybe a sig. Also, I will be doing this throughout the year, so points earned during this contest will accumulate as you earn more points from later contests.
