| I'd need Skyler or Ro to update those title tags, actually. As far as the flags go, I'll deal with 'em.
I simply have to put my promo out first.

| Dear TJ Tilli,
Did you even pay attention to the V&P Thread? I'm just wondering because you clearly voted for promo's that you seem to have read that aren't even posted and gave justifications for them.
As far as I can see at this point Kelson hasn't promo'd yet "Kelson's was just that bit better."
Same with the Ripper vs. Wolfe match.

| And I know there is a lot of expectany that Eastwood and Inferno will promo. But as of right now Crash Scene is the only team with 2 promo's, yet DM are still getting more votes.
Now ordinarily I seriously wouldn't care. But when people vote and then give justifications about why they voted it tarnish's it. These are TAG TITLES, so a TAG effort should be required.
In conclusion, hurry up Eastwood and Inferno so I can't rant on about silly votes.

| I guess it's fair to say votes don't run 100% on promo quality. People are getting behind DM, and they garner votes. Your complaint is valid and all Leon, but in truth the votes will be cancelled out by the penalties they get for lateness. And if they don't show at all, then you'll win regardless of the votes.
Now as for Tillis votes, he seemed to imagine the promoes and vote for them, for kelson at least

In conclusion, hurry up Eastwood and Inferno so I can't rant on about silly votes. To be fair, Danse Macabre is only leading two votes to one. And one of their votes was by Gabe himself...so I don't think it's something to really worry about yet. The fact that Crash Scene was the only team to get two promos up on time will speak for itself in the end. - PX wrote:

Wasn't he leaving for going Chris Benoit on his brother?

| Well no, but technically he resigned his roster spot last month when he said he was leaving.
So if he resigned his roster spot technically he isn't allowed to vote is he?

| No, you can vote if your out pf the roster, as far as i remember back in the day we had some retired guys hanging out that voted [citation needed]. If guys like Peter wanted to vote they could, I believe, since he's relatively active on the forums. You can double check that with Jaro, Banger or the HW's, for a definitive answer though, I'm just going on what I remember of our voting rules | |

| Well say if Jaro retired, he'd still be here at the fed, and he'd still be voting on the shows, so that's why i think Tilli's vote counts | |

Not that I want to give a specific opinion on this just yet; but did you just compare Jaro to TJ Tilli?

| Unless the rules have changed significantly from when I was a HW anyone who wanted to is invited to vote in the V an P thread. Most times it's just roster members who do but former players and such still can. One of the things people who are not on a roster but want to be are encouraged to do is vote.
So far as I know voting is allowed regardless of idiocy or roster status.

| Well I didn't want to say anything about it until I saw how votes were going. But I was on this website and I noticed how much PX copied it. http://www.failblog.orgNow I'm not trying to steal votes or anything but I think it should be brought to everyone's attention. ...Oh wait, wrong show. | I think if you are not an active member of the roster (tilli) you shouldn't be able to vote. It skews everything in my opinion and seems a might unfair. | |

| In the past, we have accepted all votes so long as the ballot was over 50% completed from any FMW member, regardless of whether they were active or inactive.
In a situation like this however where the votes are clearly ill-informed, I suppose it's up to the subjective opinion of the head writer to include them.
Because it is a bit of a sticky issue, I would recommend just counting the votes, if for no other reason that this is certainly not the first time something like this has happened (just the first time it's been brought public).

| I suppose what really matters is how the results are affected, because if one of the matches was down to the wire and a vote was to split it, somebody may feel bitter if they lose by one vote cast by someone who voted randomly.
In the end, I guess its HW call.

| Yeah but then you can point at other people who have potentially voted at random as well. Although TJ Tilli's is the most blatantly obvious, there are examples of such voting besides him. Not just at this show, at many shows.
We'll just keep our fingers crossed that a stupid decision doesn't affect an outcome.
