FMW's FIFA 2010 World Cup Predictions Contest: Group Results/Finals

Well, the final 16 have been decided and therefore the results of the predictions contest have been decided! No-one predicted exceptionally well, with 25 being the highest predictions-only score. That said, here are the results! Predictions were out of 48, bonus questions out of 3.

LEON CAPRICE is awarded 3 FMPs for his victory in the Group Stage round! While Eastwood scored the highest on predictions only, Caprice's strategic thinking got him all 3 bonus questions correct, and thus the victory. Eastwood receives 1 FMP for runner-up/highest score.

Now that the Group Stages are over and the Elimination rounds have begun, there's a bit of haste needed for the next round. Therefore, we'll only be predicting the Final Four standings. Here's what you have to do if you want more FMPs!

Because tonight's games (Uruguay vs. South Korea and USA vs. Ghana) are taking place too early for everyone to have a fair shot, your predictions MUST be in before the Germany/England game takes place tomorrow! That means you've got approximately 23 hours, so get them in! There's 1 FMP if you correctly predict the winner, 2 if you predict the top 2, and 3 if you predict all 4 correctly (in order!).

No. It was a bonus question, and even if I did you'd only get a third of a point because there were two others who scored 3 in the group stage.

Nope. Because it's narrowed down to three at the top already the field is too narrow to award another one.

In fairness everybody is still game for it. Rooney could score a hat trick tonight and be in the running all of a sudden. You never know.

Trust me, the way they've been playing there was more chance of it fucking snowing half way through the match! They threw it away the second Lampard's goal was disallowed. They had plenty of chances but couldn't do anything with them, and where in the blue hell was the fucking defence?????
