In a way Superstars proved a bit of nightmare for Team Abel, with both of his benched superstars winning last night, but with the week already in the bag, it didn't have any consequences. his opponent, RCA, would have cleaned up last night if he had posted last weeks team this week, with a win for Yoshi and a loss for jillian, and the possibility of slotting Masters onto the team means RCA could have had a strong week, but that has failed to happen.
Many of the Superstars on Superstars last night were either benched of no-showed this week, meaning the only person to make any real contribution to the scores was Mike Knox who lost once again, giving team PX some breathing space over Doublemummy.
Team Celt is trailing by 9 points, but with potentially 4 members of his team showing up tonight, including HOT star Batista who has a scheduled match, its all to play for there.
As For Ro and Gray, the match looks all over for Gray, the gap is seemingly to large to plug in one show.

And that is that for week 2. Your SUPERSTAR OF THE WEEK award goes to Mark Henry, who vracked up two losses in two nights and had a segment to boot, earning 17 points for team Doublemummy, who still lost her match despite being the second highest earner this week.
Our SEGMENT MACHINE was Luke Gallows and CM Punk, hitting four each, though CM Punks team was disqualified this week, making his efforts in vain. If cast as his teams hot star for the week, Punk could have earned 20 points this week, winning the week single handedly, but it was not to be.

Also, would you care to explain how you count the Standings? I've tried to find your logic, but it seemingly doesn't fit with the numbers I have.

I've been wondering the same thing, and I just figured it out.

Everyone starts at 0 at the beginning of the season. Every week you finish with a score above 0, it gets added to your overall total, and if it's below 0, it's subtracted accordingly. Then, your opponent's (for the week) scores are taken into account. Every score above 0 they finish with is subtracted from your total, and every score below 0 is added to your total.

For example, in Week 1, Celt beat me with a score of +2, and I lost with -1. That's -3 already for my standings. Then this week, I beat Gray with a score of +11, and he finished with -5. That's an addition of +16 to my overall standings, everything all adding up together to +13.

I had figured out that much, but such a system doesn't work for say, RCA; last week, he was standing at -15. Now this week, he lost to Abel +17 to 0, which means he should be at -32 right now. However, he currently stands at -27. Same goes for Ares, who started the week at -8 and after a 13-point defeat to Jack Eastwood, he currently stands at -19 while he should be at -21 using that system.

Errors or we understood the system wrong?

Yeah, those would be errors on my behalf, I rushed it a little there.

The system to the right of each name is the points difference, used purely to seperate people on tied scores. It's basically just all the points you have scored minus the points your opponent scored against you. I've scored 58 over the two weeks (33 +25) and had 7 scored against me (Eastwood: -11 and Mummy: +18) leaving my points difference at +51.

You might want to re-calculate all of 'em, PX, because I also noticed that Celt's score is off. I haven't checked the others.

Also, I noticed that we have a "Standings and Free Agency" thread in the Wrestling forum. Perhaps that should be used.

Scores have been re-calculated, I'm a little red faced about that.

After ECW its looking like most of these matches are over as contests, with marginal leads developing. Doublemummy continues to undo herself, with HOT superstar evan bourne losing for the fourth time in the Three weeks we've been playing.
That said, predictions have been fairly off this week, with 6 of the 9 teams active this week being hit the -8 penalty for miscalling their HOT and COLDs.

So RAW and ECW this week have shown us our #1 contenders for their respective belts, will SD! do the same? (I say that knowing the answer already thanks to spoilers)

No major shake ups, as Superstars usual stars are floating around the free agency. Only Major change was the further destruction of Team lazy ass, with J winning his match, sending him into deep red. RCA gained some ground thanks to Jillian, but Masters hindered that comeback.

And that is that! Big Show last night, which saw Team RCA stage a massive recovery to steal the win, his first, and Team Celt lose the right at the death because of Batista. Elsewhere, beth Pheonix's jobbing power left Team Better than you with the highest score of the week, thrashing Doublemummy and giving the team its fisrst win of the competition. Romeo's negative score went unpunished this week with a DQ win over Eastwood, and Team PX easily overcame Team Lazy Ass, who had the lowest score of the week. Standings after week 3 are as follows:

Team PX is now left with an outright lead after a third straight win and a massive points haul. Beam BTY jumped four places with their marginal win this week, Team Ro and Abel both jumped over Team BDPCBTWD, and Team Eastwood Sank to the bottom the table.

Superstar of the week is HBK with 10 points, all were needed for Abel against Celt, with a win and two segments doing the job.

Wasted talent of the week is also Tyson, could have earned up to 12 points for the week but stayed a free agent.
MVB, most valuable bench this week was Abels, his bench off Primo and Gail teamed on Superstars to pick up a win.
