RECAPS!

Nick1 vs Leon: In the game of the Week, possibly of the season so far, Leon's team edged out Nick1's team by 1 point. Both of these teams have active competitors and are fairly balanced. Nick1 could look to make more of a move in the FA pool, perhaps by dropping ripper and moving Sheila to a losing spot to maximize points. Leon should do something similar in dropping Osiris, who is just a manager for Jensen now. Perhaps picking up someone like Boice, the new GM of Corr, could be the final move that puts team Leon over the top and into a top running for the playoffs?

Nick2 vs Parkes: In what Im sure is confusing to those of you who read this, I've given Ro's team to Christian Parkes, who expressed interest in taking over the team for the rest of the year and he couldnt have done it on a better week. In what turned out to be a hilarious showing for a few teams, Nick2 embarassingly scores negative points to continue his horrible luck against conference opponents, going 0-3 against them, however this team will not be this bad ever again during this season, I believe, so this is truly the fluke, what with Apostasy being worth a whopping -13 on the week for his title loss. Parkes isn't in the clear though as he only has 2 point earners. He could try to trade for someone or make some FA moves, which I always give advice for at the end of the recaps.

Butters vs Austin: In what was possibly the most anticipated matchup of the season it wasn't as close as can be, partially because Austin has yet to replace Slegna, who is inactive. Austin's YNG heavy team has the core setup to earn maximum points. Dunn's consistent appearances with GSW will at least keep him competitive in the point column along side. Butters again proves that his team was dominant coming out of the draft and his lone loss wasn't something that is the 'standard'. He is still my favorite to win it all, IMO, considering the lineup he has.

Apostasy vs PX: In what ended up being only the second most hilarious matchup, PX loses again because for the second straight week he scores negative points. The Celt and Leon are hard guesses, because they continually have varying degrees of opponents which makes their placement difficult, but he isn't doing any favors with Artemis on the bench. I keep saying this, but anwyl is big money right now and could be good trade bait. PX's team HAS the tools, he just needs to find where they go and fast. Apostasy's team isn't normally this bad either, however he avoids giving PX his first win basically out of luck. The gamble with SoSB and Prideman didnt pay off, though Apostasy is still in the clear as far as record goes for now. Mark continues to be one of the MVP's of the season as he nets him good points again.

Az Real vs Stormmaster: In the largest margin of victory ever seen in a WFL game Az Real loses in tremendous fasion. You could not have botched a week as bad as Az real did this go around. Az has the tools too, he just is awful at placing them around. Stormmaster, on the other hand, proved how solid his team CAN be if he gets things just right, though I still argue his team is the hardest to predict show in and show out. Butters is still his highest point earner at the moment. I seriously can not get over how bad this was. I think it should go on the bloopers.

Notes: Jeff Whitt remains available, despite getting like 40000 GSW related points a week. Jack Boice is a potential decent point earner and there is a new wave of people like the Braxton Twins, Adam Smith and Paul Brooks. I suggest if youre looking to make a final move, since playoffs are just around the corner, you make a move for someone fast. Nobody is mathematicaly eliminated yet, so theres still hope for that freak next few weeks.

CORRUPTION/ANARCHY STUFF YAYAYAYAYAYAY!

Show Open: Jack Boice had a few announcements, including announcing the prize that the winner of the Corruption Through hell and back match would earn a spot in the FMC tournament at Lethal Injection! However, he wasn't the only one with an announcement as Nick Bryson came out and fired Ryder Strong for having more social media followers than him. He announced that he signed Blake Vendetta to Anarchy and will be his replacement in the Anarchy UV tournament!
Points: Nick Bryson (HOT +2), Ryder Strong (SuperStar +2)

Segment: Sage and Santana Braxton tried to get a little help with their match with STORMMASTER but had no luck with the awkward Paper Bag Man. They tried to seduce the next man they found, John Andrews, but after a kiss, he simply thanked them and walked off.
Points: Paper Bag Man (COLD +2)

Match: Seth Rotunda continued his impressive showings as he bested John Andrews and the debuting Kuruk in a hardcore match. Rotunda is really looking to make a name for himself.
Points: Seth Rotunda (COLD -10)

Segment: Nick Bryson paid for some advertising time and ran a commercial for David GS and Anarchy!
Points: None

Match: Sage and Santana Braxton used some trickery to try and best STORMMASTER. When that didnt work they simply turned his helmet around, rendering him blind and unable to get into the ring to answer a count out.
Points: STORMMASTER (HOT -10)

Segment: Crusoe, Whitt, and Dunn, aka: GSW, were hanging in their locker room when they were confronted by The Celt. They also were joined by Apostasy and the new abandoned champion, Sharpedo King

RECAPS!

Butters vs Stormmaster - Butters suffers another bad showing as he's lost twice now. Gray and Rotunda are solid performers for him, but he has difficulty placing them. He's lucky Nick Bryson was on the show so much, otherwise he would have been looking a whopping -10 instead of 0. His team is still honestly the best team in the game though, so if I were him I wouldnt be too worried. Stormmaster on the other hand has quietly been impressive, if mainly through luck. He should move his team around a little more or make a FA move while he still can to get an easier to predict team.

Az Real vs Nick2 - Nick2's team pays off for him big, getting him his first conference win where he had been horrid previously. He has a well rounded team with everyone on it frequently used and on shows, which is a big plus for him. His team is different since the draft, but he still has quite the roster. Az Real, on the other hand, continues to be hilarious. Levi is very up and down for him, and he now should look at replacing Strong before the end of the week (where it will not be allowed). Pullin was a good addition for him, though. He's clinched a playoff spot, but only barely.

Apostasy vs Parkes - Apostasy's win here with his solid team has set parkes out of playoffs officially, however his team has lost Drew for the playoffs. Mark Johansson continues to net him good points, even without being booked, and his other performers are consistently on shows. Parkes made a few moves with his team and proved that he had the blocks, or that they were there. In one week he outscored his teams almost entire combined score for the previous two or three. Hopefuly he sticks around and tries his luck next season.

Nick1 vs PX - The second most hilarious game ever in FMW WFL history as PX enters a match against #1 seed Nick1 winless and walks out with his first W. Bryson's team is one that can definately bite him in the ass like this more often than not, while PX's team showed his three active guys (REPLACE ARTEMIS YOU FOOL) can be big point earners for him. With the C4 and corr UV champ on his team, plus Leon in the FMC tournament, PX has honestly a great team for potential. Lets see what LI does for him.

Austin vs Leon - Austin's YNG heavy team earns him a solid ammount of points again as he gets the W over Leon. Austin's team has been one of the more unlucky this season too, but he's really starting to gain some traction as he squeaks into the playoffs. He should look to replace slegna (unless he thinks slegna will be making some surprise appearance) if he wants to max his point earning potential. Leon also needs to look at replacing Parkes and Osiris, both of whom are not active anymore, if he wants to continue his winning ways, as relying on two people isn't a great strategy.

Notes: John Derrick, John Andrews, and Adam Smith are all available and have been used frequently. Not to mention both Braxton Twins are still available and they've been making quite the splash. Theres a few of you who, if you really want to win, should make a move or two and consider some of these people for impact.

Points: Apostasy (SuperStar +5), Slegna (COLD +10)

Segment: Sheila Blige interviewed a cautiously optomistic Chris Austin about his outlook on life.
Points: Sheila Blige (HOT +2), Chris Austin (HOT +2)

Match: Abel Steele tried to use the brass knuckles to cheat once again but this time his opponent, Chris Austin, was prepared and saw it coming, instead using it to defeat Abel himself.
Points: Chris Austin (HOT +10), Abel Steele (Jobber +5)

Segment: Sheila Blige's interview with Butters was interrupted multiple times when Paul Brooks, Callum Pullin, and Blake Vendetta first appeared to show their support, then Nick Bryson, Mark Johansson, David GS, and Matt Ashburn appeared to let them know what would happen should they interfere. Tensions boiled over as the factions left, but Butters was 'Just happy to be there'
Points: Nick Bryson (HOT +2), David GS (HOT +2), Butters (COLD +2), Matt Ashburn (SuperStar +2), Sheila Blige (HOT +2), Mark Johansson (SuperStar +2), Blake Vendetta (HOT +2), Callum Pullin (COLD +2)

Recaps!

Nick2 vs Austin: Skyler proves to be a big pickup for Nick2 as he basically carried his team to the W this week, earning the C4 championship and 15 points. Apostasy had an amazing showing in the tournament, but only netted 5 total points (2 wins, 1 loss). Austin's team needs more out of Matt Ashburn, who is normally on the card more, and David GS since Slegna's surprise appearance, and cinderella run, cost him points this week, though he's already in playoffs and probably doesn't care much about this FMW WFL loss when he just won the FMC. =)

Nick1 vs Apostasy - Nick1s team collected entirely appearance points, and if it were not for the shenanigans of Paper Bag Man, would be walking out with a loss this show. Though its uncommon to have nobody on your team have a match (the first time ever in FMW WFL) Nick's team proved to be ok. Apostasy also only had one person have a match, miss Braxton, but also netted a fair ammount of points. These two point totals are honestly what some teams might need to just win any week, so they cant be too upset.

Butters vs Parkes - In a reoccuring theme, Butters also had no participants in a match, though he earned quite a few appearance points from all of his team members in earning the win. The gold card presents an interesting angle with Rotunda and could lead to big rewards for Butters in the playoffs. He is honestly poised to win it all, IMO. Parkes' team proved to be better still once he took it over, but Whitt's victory set him back from what honestly should have been a win.

Az Real vs PX - PX finishes the season strong with 2 consecutive wins after going winless the first 6 weeks. His team was honestly stacked all season, with the CorrUV champ, the C4 champ, and Leon, but he didnt make the moves he needed to make to squeak into playoffs. Az Real gets a few appearance points, but his team is honestly the weakest, and he hasnt had very good placement. Az should move things around a bit if he plans on trying to win playoffs.

Leon vs Stormmaster - And in Leon's shining moment Chris Austin wins 3 matches, including one for the FMC, and nets an amazing 37 points out of the HOT position. Austin outscored every team's point total just himself, so Stormmaster really didnt stand a chance, even though he put up a darned good fight, though he had 3 people lose on this show and only 2 spots for them Stormmaster could be a dark horse to win it all this year.

Notes: So FA moves are done now as rosters are locked for playoffs.

For those of you wondering, we will be doing a second season. If youre interested, post here or contact me on AIM (I know Ive already spoken to a few of you). This is how the draft will work for next season, since Im sure youre all wondering. People who are not currently participating should post here or let me know if theyd like to play too, by the way.

We're going to go with the NBA route of selecting a draft, since we're not going to be doing any keepers because of our small rosters. So, for those of you who dont know, the NBA does a draft lottery, which means that based on your record you get a certain ammount of 'selection chances', basically chances to get selected in the lottery. The worst record gets the most chances to get the first pick, the best record gets the least. Then the selections are chosen at random for picks 1-10. This will be the ammount of chances each team recieves (Out of 50):

Pure Extremist - 13 (25%)
Christian Parkes - 9 (19%)
Chris Austin - 7 (15%)
Az Real - 5 (10%)
Nick2 - 4 (08%)
Stormmaster - 4 (08%)
Apostasy - 3 (05%)
Nick1 - 2 (04%)
Leon Caprice - 2 (04%)
Butters - 1 (1%)

Playoffs are 3 weeks and are seeded as follows

West
1- Leon Caprice
4- Az Real

2- Nick1
3- Nick2

East
1-Butters
4- Austin

2- Apostasy
3- STORMMASTER

Good Luck Gentlemens =)

You can have one of the teams of someone that hasnt committed to next season yet.

I'll let you know which teams are available and anyone else who is signing up will be given a team at random out of the remaining teams.

Recap!

Playoffs round 1 is in the books and it was hilariously crazy. Quite a few upsets.

Leon vs Az: Az's team basically coasted into the playoffs completely by luck, scoring the lowest ammount of any points by any team. His mismanagement didnt get him too far, though, as he lost in the first round. I dont think Az will take this too hard, however =). Leon gets lucky, as his team has only two true active participants. He got in on Austins back, but he may not last to the finals as the top seed.

Nick1 vs Nick2: The Ultimate Rivalry comes to a close in the first round of the playofs with our closest match. Nick2 positioned his team well, and Nick1's gamble on the entirety of SMUT ended up coming just short. Nick2's team got him big points from basically all of his roster members (except Crusoe) and he looks to be in good shape.

Butters vs Austin: And the award for worst placement goes to Butters, who ends his amazing season with a flame out in playoffs round 1 basically because he didnt move Rotunda, the "#1" contender. Bryson again nets Bob big points without having a single match, and Deveraux does the same, but Austin's YNG themed team proved dominant. With Leon's team looking shaky, and the second #1 seed out of the playoffs, this could be anyones game. Including Austin.

Apostasy vs Stormmaster: Another case of the misplaced blunders another top seed out of the playoffs. Apostasy had good point totals from Mark (who has made a case for league MVP this year) and Sage, but his attempt to predict the outcome of the Pack vs SMUT match was incorrect, costing him his playoff spot. On the other side, this was a STELLAR week for Stormmaster, even if King lost him big points. He needed his team to be like this all year, but he's edged closer to the title.

Playoffs Round 2

West
1- Leon Caprice
3- Nick 2

East
4- Austin
3- STORMMASTER

Good luck gents.

Points: Skyler Striker (HOT -10), Crusoe (Jobber +2), Jonathan King (HOT +2)

Segment: Cherrywood interviews Seth Rotunda, the "#1 Contender"
Points:

Points: Jonathan King (HOT +2)

Segment: GSW has a pow-wow
Points: Matt Dunn (Jobber +2), Jonathan King (HOT +2), Crusoe (Jobber +2)

1- Leon Caprice - 19 (Damien Inferno +7, Chris Austin +12)
3- Nick 2 - 3 (Crusoe +6, Skyler -8, Dazz Andrews +10, Apostaay -5)

East
4- Austin - [-18] (Matt Ashburn -5, David GS -15, Matt Dunn +2)
3- STORMMASTER - 7 (Hannibal Frost -3, Jonathan King +16, Abel Steele +4, Bobino -10)

Recap!:

Playoffs continue being crazy. Lets take a look.

Nick2 vs Leon: Nick2 honestly had the best chance to take this thing, I believe, but Skyler losing cost him big, as he could have survived with Apostasy losing, but not Skyler. Unfortunately, the one rough week you have in the playoffs generally tends to be your last. Leon skates through with Damien and Austin again, Austin proving to be strong enough to carry his team to the promised land.

Austin vs Stormmaster: For all the good Austin has done for Leon, he cant score points for himself and a bad week for YNG proved fatal for Chris, netting him the lowest point total in FMW Playoffs. Stormmaster, on the other hand, finally had Jonathan King pay off for him, as he cancelled out Bobino and Frost by himself. Stormmaster's team has gotten hot at the right time, but can he continue the streak in the finals?

Next Week:

Points: Jonathan King (HOT +10)

Segment: Recoil of the Week!
Points: None

Match: Hannibal Frost and Skyler defeat Dunn and Leviticus in tag team action!
Points: Hannibal Frost (SuperStar +5)

Segment: Abel continues to harass Deveraux with his legal council.
Points: Abel Steele (Jobber +2)

Match: Abel approaches the ring, but is quickly bested by Leon Caprice, and he placed P. thurston Deveraux on the fallen man for a victory for the GM. It is short lived, however, as Anwyl makes a return and attacks Leon, shaking hands with Abel
Points: Abel Steele (Jobber +5)

Segment: Fake Sean gives an interview.
Points

Match: The Mystery Opponent somehow defeats Sean Jensen, REAL SEAN!?
Points: None

Segment: Cherrywood gets an interview with Skyler Striker, C4 champion, and eventually they come across Leon Caprice.
Points: None

Match: Seth Rotunda refuses to let Steve Monroe extract revenge as he defeats him in the ring
Points:

Segment: Apostasy and Jeff whitt confront each other before Catalyst.
Points:

Match: Apostasy and Chris Austin unite to defeat Jeff Whitt and Santana Braxton in tag action, leaving FMW on top! However, Rotunda attempts to use the Gold Card immediately after the match, when he finds out that the Gold Card was dead and buried, and is no longer valid. Austin demands his shot anyway and we're all set for Catalyst.
Points: Chris Austin (HOT +10)

Corruption/Anarchy 16.3

Match: Antonio Grimelli and Dazz Andrews surprise the crowd when they defeat Sharpedo King and STORMMASTER, even when Paper Bag Man tried to help. Kuruk was able to come in and even the odds, but who knows what this means going out of the night!?
Points:

Segment: Boice and Apostasy have one more sitdown conversation, where Boice urges Apostasy on.
Points:

Match: Damien Inferno and Nicholas Gray continue moving in the record books with another tag title defence.
Points: Damien Inferno (SuperStar +7)

Segment: Nick Bryson, with Mark Johansson, demands Boice to help him find out who hacked his twitter account. Boice simply laughs him off, which makes Bryson more furious.

Match: Jack Eastwood and Daniel Prideman continue their hot streak as they defeat Brett Jackson and Kuruk in tag action. This makes three in a row for the Pack.
Points: None

Segment: Sheila Blige attempted to interview the Tag champs when they were interrupted by Nick Brysn, Matt Ashburn, and Mark Johansson. Bryson attempted to intimidate the champs, announcing that they would face he and Mark at Catalyst, but the Champs were unwaivered.
Points: Damien Inferno (SuperStar +2)

Match: Mark Johansson looked strong going into Catalyst, defeating Bobino with Nick Bryson at ringside.
Points: Bobino (COLD +10)

Segment: Bobino makes a commercial. Which takes over 50 takes. Great job, Bobino!
Points: Bobino (COLD +2)

Match: Paul Brooks wins by count out against Morpheus in his debut match, when Nick Bryson (with Mark Johansson) refuses to let morpheus in the building.
Points

Segment: Sheila Blige interviews Blake Vendetta, the new Anarchy UV champ, who reveals its was he who hacked Nick Bryson's twitter account. Probably a bad move.
Points:

Match: David GS seeks, and gets, retribution for the Anarchy UV title loss at the hands of Blake Vendetta, gaining a victory over the upstart and regaining his Anarchy UV Championship.

Results!

Leon - 19 (Damien Inferno +9, Chris Austin +10)
Stormmaster - 36 (Abel Steele +7, Bobino +12, Hannibal Frost +5, Jonathan King +12)

Recap:

Leon vs Stormmaster: At the end of the Day, Damien and Austin proved to be huge point earners, but this is a game with 4 roster members, not 2, and Stormmasters were all placed perfectly. He maximized his points in astonishing fashion, scoring the highest playoff point total, and walking away with the title of FMW WFL Season 1 Champion. Stormmaster definately pulled off an upset, looking like an early 1st round exit to becoming Champion. Good luck next time, everyone

Congratulations

STORMMASTER
