| I'm not a big follower of baseball, though I do enjoy watching some White Sox games or Blue Jay cuz I'm Canadian.
HOWEVER.
I was watching SportsCenter this morning, and who knew this:
Phillies asign Pitcher ANDREW CARPENTER to the minors.
Who knew Sleg was a professional pitcher?

| Not only is he a professional baseball player, but apparently he also isn't good enough for the major leagues. | |

| I've been up in the majors a few times, actually.Ironically enough though, I (the real Sleg) throw the same pitches he does: fastball, slider, and a splitter. Plus his number is 3 times the number I've worn since I was 9 years old (my 16 to his 48). Maybe we have more in common than I thought. XD Back more on topic, I'm worried about the Mariners' run production this year. Sure they can get on base, but I don't see them driving those runs in unless Jose Lopez has another great year and Milton Bradley has a decent year where he keeps his cool. | |

I fully expect the Ms to win the West, hands down. I think the playoffs will look like this ALW) Mariners E) Yankees C) Detroit WC/ Texas/Tampa Bay NLW) Dodgers E) Phillies C) Cubs WC Giants/Brewers. thats just me.

| So I'm watching the Cardinals vs Mets.
The score was 0-0 going into the 19th inning.
Now it is 1-1.
The Cardinals are using infielders for pitchers and the game has used 46 of 50 players on both rosters.
We're quickly approaching the 7th hour mark on our way to the 20th inning.
Epic stuff. | |
