| Seth: Saviour gets my approval but Sound of Madness was released in 2008. I do love me some Shinedown though. Jetstream: Too much Green Day. Edible: There were other albums released in 2009, ya know? Now for my top ten... 10. "Life Of The Party" by A Rocket To The Moon - great pop-rock party anthem. 9. "Hey Katie" by Making April - A very amusing pop rock song about the singer's obsession with Kate Beckinsale. 8. "PDA" by The Backstreet Boys - Say what you want. I like it. Lol. 7. "First Train Home" by Imogen Heap - calm, mellow, classic stuff from Imogen. 6. "Music" by Manic Drive - great, galloping techno-rock tune with a fantastic violin backing. 5. "Heartbreak Warfare" by John Mayer - good old Johnny. 4. "Don't Stop Believing" by the Cast of Glee. Way to bring back the old-school hits and reinvent them at the same time. 3. "Forget And Not Slow Down" by Relient K - pop punk awesomnity. 2. "Mess Of Me" by Switchfoot - grungy pop rock from the Foot. Return to their usually exceptional form. 1. "Code Name: Raven" by House of Heroes. Absolutely PHENOMENAL song and album (off the album 'The End Is Not The End'). | |

| Very good tune. I saw them live this year at Virgin Fest. Beyond worth it. Their first encore was Eddie sitting on stage drinking a bottle of wine (the entire bottle) while the band played and the crowd sang Alive. Absolutely brilliant. | |

| Green Day's terrible.[/enddiscussion]
10) "Bloodlines" - Dethklok 9) "Flag in the Ground" - Sonata Arctica 8) "Panic Switch" - Silversun Pickups 7) "Break" - Three Days Grace 6) "Divinations" - Mastodon 5) "At the Bottom" - Brand New 4) "Dialectic Chaos" - Megadeth 3) "The Count of Tuscany" - Dream Theater 2) "Keelhauled" - Alestorm 1) "A Nightmare to Remember" - Dream Theater
And Arch Enemy as well as Stratovarius released some great stuff, too. I also contemplated throwing a Protest the Hero live song on there as well. And for the record, Muse's album was way overrated, still good (which says a lot about the band), but overrated.

| I have that Green Day album, and I will say that Jetstreams choices for which songs were the best from it I think were unusual. I thought Know your Enemy was the worst song on the Album, and 21st century breakdown was a good song but not the best of the year. Last day on earth was meh, there were a lot of better songs to choose from. | |

You forget to take into account that i'm unusual. Those are the songs that I like. I also like Before The Lobomoty, Christian's Inferno, Viva La Gloria!, and American Eulogy. However, I don't wanna get into that...

Taking a better look at the list...
Date With the Night was out at least '07 and Frou Frou dispanded in the early naughties...
