Battle Royal
Bonsai Magpie vs DJ Hipp vs Ghost vs Marcus Bailey vs El Presidente

All right, awesome to be at another NEW taping! I may have had to sell my body to a very large man from the South to afford it, but it's totally worth it. Anyway, first up was the Battle Royal. Five guys, and you're eliminated if you go over the top rope and out.

We started off with all five guys in the ring. As soon as the bell went, Marcus Bailey went after Bonsai and DJ Hipp traded blows with Ghost, while El Presidente bailed to the outside. He went under the bottom rope though, so he wasn't eliminated, and crouched by the ring apron to hide. Damn, what a coward.

Back in the ring, Bonsai countered one of Bailey's punches into a wristlock, and used it to hold him in place while delivering a series of quick kicks to the face and chest. He than span round and swept Bailey off his feet with a low kick. Meanwhile Ghost and Hipp were locked up in a test of strength, neither of them gaining any ground. That started to get a 'boring' chant from the NEW faithful. Seriously, what a couple of losers.

Thankfully, Magpie came over and broke it up with a double dropkick to their faces. That got a hell of a cheer, I don't mind telling you. Bailey came charging in from nowhere when Magpie was back up to his feet, but he got flapjacked onto the top rope for his troubles, and DJ Hipp bundled him over onto the floor below. Marcus Bailey was eliminated.

When the DJ turned back around he was flattened by a sweet outside crescent kick from Magpie, who went up to the top rope. Ghost was the first to his feet, and Bonsai came off with a beautiful hurricanrana, sending Ghost halfway across the ring! He went up top again, but El Presidente climbed up behind him and pushed him off to the canvas below. El Presidente then started frantically talking to DJ Hipp, trying to form some sort of alliance.

Hipp picked up Ghost and whipped him across the ring, and at the last second El Presidente jumped up on the outside and pulled the top rope down, spilling Ghost down to the floor below. Ghost was eliminated. They tried to do exactly the same thing to Bonsai Magpie, but the freak managed to grab the top rope and hang on. Hipp didn't see that though, and raised his arms in victory. El Presidente finally came back into the ring at this point, and surprised Hipp with a backcracker. Meanwhile, Bonsai was still trying to catch his momentum and get back into the ring.

El Presidente picked up DJ Hipp and started to toy with him. He whipped the guy against the ropes, then ran at him and nailed a crazy-looking running side-effect! The guy was out for the count, and El Presidente laughed as he picked him up and dropped him over the top rope. DJ Hipp was eliminated. El Pres was punished for taking his time though, as Bonsai had got his bearings back and came off the top rope with an unbelievable corkscrew missile dropkick to the head!

Both men were down after this move, and took their sweet time getting to their feet. You had to give the advantage to El Presidente though, he weighs a good hundred and fifty pounds more than Bonsai; this kind of match doesn't really lend itself to a high-flier. He did get back up first though, and peppered El Pres with a lightning-fast blaze of martial arts kicks, finishing off with a roundhouse kick to the chops which knocked his opponent off his feet, and then a jumping knee drop to the neck.

Magpie struggled to haul El Presidente back up, and had a real job dragging him over to the ropes. He just couldn't bundle the other guy over though, and when his opponent came to his senses he drilled Bonsai with a kick to the gut and a DDT. El Pres stomped at Magpie's head a few times, then picked him up and nailed a fisherman's suplex. He taunted the crowd for a bit, laughing at the fallen Bonsai Magpie.

Looking to end it, the bigger man picked up his opponent in a powerbomb lift and walked confidently over to the ropes, looking to just drop him out of the ring. At the last second though, Magpie pulled off a huge counter, hurricranaing El Pres as he bent over the ropes, and flipping him down to the ground below! El Presidente was eliminated, making the winner of the match Bonsai Magpie!

Bonsai couldn't believe it, he crawled his way back into the centre of the ring and celebrated. It was great to see that guy win, a real underdog story. Unfortunately, there was someone to ruin the party. El Presidente had grabbed a chair from under the ring, and with a determined look on his face he slid back into the ring and mullered Bonsai across the back of the head with it. EMTs came rushing down as Magpie wasn't moving at all, and the referee had to stop El Pres from doing more damage.

Kamal Qahaar and Kaze vs ELK and Iron Hammerz

Next up was the reunion of Kaze and his partner in the tag tournament Kamal Qahaar, taking on the fresh team of ELK and Iron Hammerz. Qahaar kicked things off against ELK, the two meeting in the middle of the ring in a test of strength. The bigger man was beginning to get the best of the tie up until ELK cleverly used the other guy's momentum and dropped him with an arm drag. Surprised by this, Kamal Qahaar backed over to his corner and tagged in Kaze.

Kaze came in with a full head of steam, storming through ELK with a quick combination of forearm and elbow strikes. He followed up with a few shoulder strikes in the corner, but when he tried taking a run up for a big splash in the corner, ELK dodged out of the way leaving Kaze to crash into the turnbuckle. Iron Hammerz tagged in and quickly took out his opponent's knee with a chop block. Keeping Kaze grounded with a nasty-looking STF, Hammerz used his weight to stop Kaze crawling to his corner.

After some encouragement from Kamal and the crowd, Kaze made it to the ropes. He was still coughing pretty violently though, and when he made it to his feet he was met with a poke to the eyes and a series of swift chops to the chest from Iron Hammerz. Kaze was backed into the corner, and ELK held his arms while Hammerz laid into the guy with kicks to the gut. The tag was made, and ELK dragged Kaze to the middle of the ring before hitting a jawbreaker. You could see Kamal getting more and more frustrated over in his corner.

ELK went to the ring apron, and went for a massive springboard leg drop on the downed Kaze. At the last second though he rolled out of the way, leaving ELK to crash and burn. Clutching his bruised arse in agony, ELK didn't manage to get to his feet before Kaze, who whipped him against the ropes before heading off on a perpendicular run and colliding in the middle of the ring with a massive pounce!

Slowly crawling into the cover, he wasn't able to capitalise in time and ELK managed to get a shoulder up at the count of two. Iron Hammerz illegally came into the ring and dropped Kaze hard with a backcracker. Finally, Qahaar had had enough. He stormed to the commentators' area and grabbed a steel chair, before rolling into the ring with it.

The ref tried to hold him back, but to no avail. Incredibly though, Qahaar turned and spammed his own partner Kaze over the head with the chair! ELK and Iron Hammerz just stood there in shock as Qahaar spat on the floor and made his way back up the ramp. The ref seemed as confused as the rest of us. Can you DQ a guy for being hit by his own tag partner? It was academic though, as ELK came to his senses and covered the prone Kaze. ELK and Iron Hammerz beat Kaze and Kamal Qahaar by pinfall.

Kaze woke up eventually though, with a furious look etched on his face. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of that dysfunctional team. He stormed out of the ring past the celebrating ELK and Hammerz, still holding his battered head.

A-OK Super Number One Championship match
Bubblelicious vs Dylan Impact

Super what? The guy next to me told me is was some kind of joke title that Bubblelicious had been walking around backstage with recently. Alright, whatever floats his boat. But now he had to put the thing on the line against a new guy called Dylan Impact, a skinny greasy fella with an ugly sneer.

Bubblelicious spentlike five minutes showing off his crazy belt to the crowd, before Impact sucker punched him from behind. He laid into Bubba with some stamps to the shoulder, before swooping in and trying to put his opponent in an armbar. Too soon though, and Bubblelicious was able to squirm his way to the ropes. Impact kept trying to lock the move in though, and had to be dragged away by the ref. Crappy referee, I'd have just DQed the git.

The distraction gave Bubblelicious the chance he needed to get back to his feet though, and he came at Dylan with alternating left and right fists. He then whipped him into the corner and sandwiched him against the turnbuckle with a running butt smash. That's got to hurt, coming from an arse the size of Bubblelicious'.

While Dylan was writhing around on the mat, Bubba went up to the second rope, and came off the top with a splash to Impact's midsection. I winced, I don't mind telling you. He went for the cover, and the guy barely flopped a shoulder up before the count of three.

Bubblelicious helped Impact to his his feet, looking to put him away for good. The greaseball cheaply poked him in the eyes though, and followed up with an enziguti to the back of the head. Impact was in control now, and took his time dropping a number of knees and elbows on Bubba's shoulder. Dylan dragged his opponent to the middle of the ring, and finally managed to lock in that armbar he'd been looking for.

Fighting hard, Bubba was nonetheless unable to get to the sides of the ring with Dylan Impact's weight on his back. It looked like he was fading, and the ref checked if he wanted to quit, only to have a load of random gibberish shouted at him by Bubblelicious! Energised by his weird title being on the line, Bubblelicious managed to roll sideways, squashing Impact underneath him. The referee started the count, but Impact was able to break the hold and barely push Bubba off him.

As Bubblelicious clambered back to his feet, Impact stood over him smugly. Bad move though, as he was hit with a rising headbutt to the midsection. Two more headbutts to Impact's temple, and then Bubblelicious roared in triumph and smashed him with the Gum Drop DDT. He quickly made the cover, and Bubblelicious successfully got the three to pick up his first win in NEW. Nice work, Bubba.

Krisko and Bobino vs Chris Black and Slegna

Oh man, I'd really been looking forward to this one. The brothers representing Big Brother against the enormous Ace Rocker and the returning Slegna! Bobino and Chris Black started things off, wasting no time getting in each other's faces and talking smack. The bell rang and immediately Bobino whacked Black with a punch to the gut and followed up with a neckbreaker. He then nailed two leg drops in succession to Black's throat, and dragged him by the arm to the heels' corner.

Krisko tagged himself into the match, and came off the top rope with a fist drop to Black's head. He then dragged Black to a vertical base and shoved him into the corner, punishing his midsection with a bunch of shoulder thrusts. Krisko then got in the ref's face, allowing Bobino to choke the Ace Rocker from behind. By the time Krisko turned around, though, Black had turned the tables and knocked Bobino off the apron with a thunderous right hand!

Charging in to try and stop Black from getting out of the corner, Krisko was met with a knee to the gut, and then was picked up above Chris' head in a military press! the Ace Rocker showed Krisko off to the crowd before dropping him over the top rope onto Bobino. He walked lazily back to his own corner and tagged in Slegna, who ran the ropes before coming down onto Big Brother with a huge plancha! Sleg was first to his feet, and the ref got up to a count of eight before Krisko pulled his sorry carcass back into the ring.

Graciously allowing his opponent to get to his feet, Slegna then locked Krisko up in a side headlock, which he held for a while before transitioning beautifully into a swinging full nelson. Krisko looked like he was going to give up, unitl Bobino took out Sleg with a knee to the back. Big Brother made the tag, and Bobino worked Slegna over with some still forearm shots, polished off with a jawbreaker. He then dragged Sleg over to the corner and absolutely nailed his Darwinism finisher. Only a two and a half count though, and Black was there to break it up anyway.

Bobino swore at the ref, frustrated at coming so close, and tagged Krisko back into the match. He flipped the prone Slegna over and locked him into a Boston crab in the middle of the ring.Sleg fought like a man possessed to get to the ropes, but Krisko wasn't budging. Eventually Black realised this and cracked Krisko over the back of the head with a no nonsense big boot. With both legal men down in the middle of the ring the ref started to count as each tried to get to their partner for a tag.

Urged on by the crowd, Slegna got to his corner first, tagging in the man-mountain Chris Black. The Ace Rocker ran across the ring, and though he couldn't stop Krisko from tagging out he did drop Bobino with a clothesline as soon as he entered the ring. He then whipped Bobino against the ropes and dropped him with an almighty spinebuster, before flipping Krisko over the ropes back into the ring! Black stomped away at both men for a bit, before picking them up and crashing their heads together. Man, he was on fire!

Chris then took Bobino to the ropes, whipping him across the ring and meeting him in the middle with a vicious CAT clothesline which turned The New Shit inside out. The pin was academic after that sick move. Chris Back and Slegna defeated Krisko and Bobino. Though they'd won the match, Slegna didn't seem happy that Black had been the one to get the pin. He stormed back up the ramp in a bad mood as the Ace Rocker stood in the ring soaking up the applause.

Cactus Sam Invitational
Troy Danes vs. Pure Talent vs. Chase

And so the match that I thought had the most to gain, save for the main event match. The match that would determine who, alongside Cactus Sam, would go on to face the British Lion’s next NEW.

Steve ‘The Immediate Impact Player’ Zanoni was already in the ring, with his dented chair which he had used to level Alex Dunn at 3.2. Troy Danes was running down the ramp and slide right into the ring just to walk into a vicious chair shot from Mr. ‘Pure Talent.’ The crowd didn’t care for that so much, and almost lifted the roof as soon Chase bolted down to the ring. Zanoni went for another chair shot but Chase ducked beneath it and immediately hit a DDT. The bell rang and the ref got the chair out of the ring.

Chase went to stomping at the prone Danes as Zanoni got up, hooking a full nelson on Chase; rookie mistake, turning your back on an opponent like that. Chase got to the ropes though, and the ref broke the hold.

A bloody Danes was coming back to life though, and he rolled Steve up; but Chase hit him in the back with a sharp kick the whole arena heard to break it up at one. Chase then went for the cover, but the Impact Player kicked out.

Zanoni and Chase got up, followed shortly by Troy, who took both men down with a double clothesline. He bounced off the far rope but came back to a pair of drop kicks curtsy of the men he just fell. The IIP was quick to capitalise, first leg sweeping Chase then locking in an ankle lock on Troy. Chase was quick to place Troy’s foot on the ropes though, then got a rear headlock on Steve.

Troy got up, and went for a super kick in the general direction of Chase and Steve. Chase ducked behind Steve, who flipped over him and got covered. Troy broke the count up this time by throwing Chase clear and going for a pin himself. The IIP kicked him away and all three men scrambled to their feet, staring at each other.

The crowd popped something royal. So noisy. All three men joined hands, making a chain of sorts. Zanoni pulled his two oppositions together, causing them to knock heads before hitting bulldogs on the both of them. He then tried to… Get this… He tried to cover both men at the same time; who threw him six foot into the air. It was amazing.

Troy and Chase now exchanging fists as Steve hid in the corner. Chase reeled from an uppercut and Pure Talent struck like a cobra with a clothesline knocking him over the top rope. Troy hit a German Suplex, but it took a lot out of him. Both men were on the floor, Chase was outside.

The ref started his count, but soon Chase was back in the ring, and he hit a vicious running DDT on Steve, who was first up. Troy received a spear shortly after; Chase climbed to the second rope and threw up his arms. The crowd cheered! Troy pulled him off though, and rolled him up; just for Chase himself to roll through. Two count thanks to Steve quickly dragging Chase free and forcing him into the corner.

Steve beat on Chase before setting him up for a Superplex. Chase resisted though, and managed to reverse into his finisher. BODYGUARD FROM THE TOP! SBG! SUPERBODYGUARD!

Steve was out. Chase down. Troy struggling to his feet using the ropes. He hit a leg drop on Chase. Then tried for another only to fall right into an ankle lock. Troy got the ropes though, after an agonising crawl to his right. Steve was groggily getting up but Chase baseball slide him out to the apron. He dragged the injured Danes back to the center of the ring and hit a Lionsault for the one-two-three.

Chase won via pinfall, but Steve Zanoni was not happy. He was going for his chair, but someone came out of the crowd. It was Alex Dunn!

Alex Dunn kicked the chair out of reach, ducked a left swing and then hit a gut buster on the rail. Kids were slapping Alex’s hands and shoulders as he dragged Steve up and hit a suplex to gut buster on the rail again. Chase slid out of the ring, and, with Dunn, flipped Pure Talent out of the crowd to ringside. The two high fived before Alex dragged Steve up by the hair, pulling him up the ramp, wrenching his arm occasionally, driving his elbow into the IIP’s shoulder.

Chase was back in the ring, offering his hand to help Troy up; showing respect for the sport and his opponent. The two of them raised their hands and the crowd loved it. But their cheers turned to jeers as Sam emerged from out back. Just staring down at the man that would be his partner…

Cactus Sam vs Dante Lionheart

Cactus made his way down to the ring, motioning for Chase to stay where his was. He looked over his new tag partner coolly, then raised the guy's arm in victory. They posed for a little while as Cactus ominously stared a hole through the departing Alex Dunn. Sam then took Zanoni's pet chair and set it up outside the ring, inviting Chase to sit in it and telling him to 'watch how it's done'.

So with Chase sat at ringside and Cactus Sam stood alertly in the middle of the ring, Dante Lionheart came down to the ring to little reaction. Honestly, we were more interested to see which side of Cactus would come out to play tonight. Cactus offered a handshake, but used it to yank Dante towards him and deck him with a stiff clothesline. Pretty funny move by the comparative veteran.

He helped Dante back to his feet, and seemed to be saying sorry to the guy for taking advantage like that. Lionheart didn't seem to believe him at first, but Sam bowed his head apologetically and offered his hand in friendship again. Dante looked around in confusion for a moment, before shrugging and shaking Cactus' hand again. Then BAM! Cactus pulled him again and nailed another clothesline to the sucker! Sam was bent over with laughter, and when Dante got back to his feet he rushed the guy with a knee to the chest.

As Dante stood there wounded, Cactus hooked the guy's arms behind him and hit a spinning version of the double arm DDT. Honestly, Lionheart was pretty much out from this point. Sam dragged him to the corner, climbing above him and hitting a series of ten punches as the crowd counted along. Holding his knees against Dante's head, Cactus then jumped backwards onto his back, smashing Lionheart's head against his knees. Nasty, and Chase seemed quite impressed at ringside.

Sam then took some time showing off to the crowd, soaking up the cheers. Meanwhile Dante slowly climbed back up to his feet, holding his forehead in agony. He rushed headlong at Sam, who sidestepped the clumsy charge. Dante bounced off the ropes, and was met in the middle of the ring with Cactus' trademark Six Shooter. He rolled over into a nonchalant cover, but even that was enough to earn the win over Dante. Impressive stuff from crazy old Sam, who's been on fire recently. Man, with the impressive Chase on his side, the British Lions have got a real fight on their hands at 3.4.

NM Savant vs Skyler Striker

Two rookies, but that damn know-it-all stood next to me swore he'd seen Striker in another fed a while ago. Meh. Anyway, the two stood in the middle of ring, with the 'Original Hooligan' standing tall over the shorter Skyler Striker. He didn't seem intimidated though, and soon chopped his opponent down with some well-placed kicks to the side of his legs. He taunted Savant, who swung at him with a vicious right hand. Skyler was able to duck though, and with Savant confused he hit a sit-out facebuster out of nowhere. He optimistically went for a quick cover, but only got one and a half from it.

Striker was right back on the attack, measuring NM Savant as he rose before launching into an enziguri. Savant ducked in time though, and Skyler landed quite painfully on his own face. Savant pressed the advantage, taking the fight to his opponent with a couple of stamps to the knee. He then picked Striker up by the leg, driving his knee hard into the canvas again and again. With a grimace on his face, Striker managed to scrabble to the ropes, but seemed to have problems putting weight on that leg.

Sensing the weakness, Savant went to the outside of the ring. He grabbed Skyler's leg and dragged him over to the turnbuckle, where he wrapped it around the metal ringpost. Striker swore in pain and frustration, but NM Savant just bashed the guy's leg hard into the steel steps. The ref was nearly at ten by this point though, so the big man rolled in and back out of the ring to break the count.

That turned out to be the chance Striker needed to recover, and as Savant approached he kicked out at him with his remaining good leg, catching the guy square in the face. He pulled himself back into the ring, trying to shake some feeling back into his bad leg before Savant could get on the offensive again. The Original Hooligan finally got back up onto the apron, only to be met with a neckbreaker which sandwiched his neck against the ropes.

Striker tried to capitalise, propelling himself over the top rope with an attempted cross body to the outside, but Savant managed to catch him and charged into the steel steps once more. Savant spread his opponent over the steps, cruelly dropping elbow shots into the injured knee of Striker. Again he had to nip into the ring to break the exasperated referee's count, but this time Striker wasn't able to recover and Savant went right back to the leg.

Climbing onto the steps himself, Savant delivered a series of stamps to the knee. Sensing victory, he finally went back into the ring, hassling the referee to count faster. Striker just about made it back inside after the count of eight, only to be swiftly covered by the larger man. A long two count, but Skyler wasn't ready to quit just yet.

Irritated, NM Savant pulled his opponent to his feet and jerked him upwards in a powerbomb lift. With a great presence of mind, Striker countered it into a headscissors takedown. Looked like it just hurt his knee even more though, the guy was hopping around the ring at this point to avoid putting any pressure on it. Striker passed through the ropes, and when Savant got back to his feet he was met by a one-legged springboard dropkick from the outside!

Savant staggered around a little before collapsing near the corner. Striker got this big grin on his face and hopped as fast as his leg would carry him over to the turnbuckle. He climbed to the top, braced himself, and came off with an unbelievable 630 senton splash, somehow using only one leg! He quickly hooked the leg, and Striker got the three over NM Savant. Great match, and this Striker guy is certainly one to keep an eye on.

New Era Heavyweight Champnioship No DQ match
TyranT vs Shoop27 vs Pure Extremist

Finally, an end to the controversy we'd had since TyranT stoles the title at the end of the last NEW show. And with the rest of TyranT's chums in Big Brother banned from ringside, we'd actually see a fair contest for the belt. Well, you can always hope, can't you? Personally, I was hoping for a freak bolt of lightning to strike TyranT right in the face, but I'd settle for a rabid dog attack.

With Shoop and PX in the ring, TyranT slowly came down to the ring with his stolen belt. He reluctantly handed it to the referee, whilst looking warily at his two opponents. As expected, TyranT bailed to the outside the second the bell went. PX and Shoop weren't having any of that though, they looked at each other and simultaneously left the ring to chase him down. PX caught TyranT first, and laid into him with some hard closed fists. He backed off as Shoop arrived, who jumped up onto TyranT's shoulders and rode his face down to the ground! Nasty.

While Shoop was occupied making TyranT hit himself in the face with his own hands, PX got this look of joy in his eyes. He looked around the crowd for support, then dove under the ring, finally emerging with two tables. He started to set them up at ringside, pausing only momentarily to give TyranT a scoop slam onto the hard floor. PX stood one table on top of the other, with the care of a master craftsman.

Shoop27 then leapt up the ring apron, jumping onto the middle rope and coming off with some kind of crazy Asai shooting star press. Hell, I don't know how he did it. It certainly did a number on TyranT though, who was clutching at his midsection and trying to crawl away from the madness.

A calculating look in his eyes, PX had gone back under the ring. This time he emerged with a huge ladder, which he slid into the ring. He bounced TyranT's head off the steel steps about half a dozen times before rolling into the ring and setting up the ladder. What on earth was he planning with all this hardware?

Anyway, the fight was still going on between Shoop and the man who'd stolen his title. TyranT finally got some offence of his own in, punching Shoop square in the balls with a damn low blow. He then tried to scoop slam the weirdo, but seemed to drop him halfway, landing Shoop harshly on his neck. Damn, that looked like it hurt.

With his ladder now set up, PX came back out to take the fight to TyranT. He caught the bully by surprise with a sharp kick to the gut, before picking him up with his fisherman's DDT and dropping him hard on the ring steps. PX then helped Shoop back to his feet, and seemed to be letting him in on some kind of plan. Shoop nodded enthusiastically, and bounced happily into the ring. On the outside, PX picked up TyranT in an impressive gorilla press.

PX carefully draped TyranT on top of the two-table stack, and gestured to Shoop27, who began climbing the ladder set up inside the ring. We began to realise what was on the books and an eerie silence fell over the arena. With TyranT laid out on the upper table, PX set fire to the lower one in the stack. And then, Shoop shouted 'Wheeeeee!' and came off the top of that ladder with an incredible shooting star press to the outside! He landed straight onto TyranT, and the two crashed through the higher table, through the flaming table and to the hard floor below!

His arms raised in triumph, PX took a moment to bask in the 'Holy shit!' chant echoing around the arena. Finally, he rolled TyranT into the ring and covered him for the academic win. At the very last second though, Shoop scrambled into the ring and broke up the pin. He angrily confronted PX,.and then out of nowhere dropped him with a standing hurricanrana. The hardcore former champ ended up draped over the middle rope, and Shoop was quick to follow up with a sweet 619 to the face.

Shoop tried to put PX away with a springboard senton splash, but he managed to get his knees up just before impact, leaving Shoop rolling around clutching his stomach. With quite some effort, PX fragged Shoop over to the corner, setting him up on the top turnbuckle, looking for a superplex. Shoop came back to reality though, biting at PX's forehead until he lost his balance and fell off the turnbuckle. Sensing victory, Shoop flew from the top with an amazing 360 spin, landing with a stomp to PX's chest. He crawled over for the cover, but both opponents had forgotten about the deadly TyranT.

From behind, TyranT simply lashed Shoop across the back of the skull with his nightstick. As Shoop lay there prone, TyranT did it again and again, smashing the vicious rod into Shoop's unprotected skull. Good grief, it looked vicious from where I was sitting. He just laughed though, and shoved the unconscious Shoop27 out of the ring. And it was that which put him out of the match; guy landed on his fucking head. EMTs rushed down to the ring, trying to get a stretcher through the smouldering mess of tables at ringside. The crowd seemed a little shocked, but we gave Shoop a standing ovation as he was carried away.

Back in the ring, TyranT was measuring PX up for a nasty running kick. He connected perfectly, catching PX right in the temple with his boot. A chant of 'You can't wrestle' started up, which really seemed to get TyranT riled up. He picked up the ladder, looking as though he was going to bash it into the side of PX's head. Instead though, he turned, and heaved the ladder over the top rope and into the crowd. Fucking hell. I saw the ladder catch a little girl in the second row right in the face, and security had to stop a swarm of people from invading the ring to get TyranT back.

He just laughed though, pointing at the section of fans he'd nailed with the ladder and rocking back and forth with laughter. At that point though, PX had had all the time he needed to get back to his feet. TyranT was alerted by the cheers though, and turned round to face his furious opponent. The two met in the middle of the ring, trading hard right hands. PX got the better of the exchange, hitting punch after punch until TyranT lurched forward with a knee to the gut.

TyranT wound up for a final shot with the nightstick, but was interrupted by a sudden appearance on the entrance ramp. Slegna! He ran down to the ring wielding a chair and got in TyranT's face, probably incensed at what TyranT had done to the fans earlier with that ladder. He raised his chair to smash TyranT, but at the last second span round and brought it down onto PX's head. Fucking hell. As PX lay there, Sleg brought the chair down into his throat again and again. PX was coughing up blood at this point, and TyranT was just laughing it up.

Slegna, dragged PX to his feet, and held him there for TyranT, who lazily hit his spinning Tyrant Slam finisher. He went for the pin as Sleg stood watch, and as slowly as the disgusted ref counted there was no way PX was going to kick out. Your winner and new New Era Heavyweight Champion: TyranT!

TyranT grabbed his title and hugged Slegna happily as they showed off the belt to the jeering crowd. I swear, I was up in the nosebleed seats and I could still hear him call us 'punks'. Finally though, we saw some payback!

Prince Tempest and Chris Black ran out at full pelt, sliding into the ring before Slegna and TyranT could see them coming. Sleg swung his chair at Tempest, who ducked it and hit a jumping neckbreaker which turned Slegna inside out. TyranT tried to intervene with a shot of his nightstick, but Black caught it in one massive hand. Incredibly, the Ace Rocker lifted TyranT over his head by the arm, before letting him drop and catching him in mid-air with a sweet uppercut!

Bailing to the outside, Slegan and TyranT retreated back up the ramp, gesturing that they'd still captured the NEHC for Big Brother. As they tried to leave though, NEW's commissioner Mike 'Brawler' Nunes came out from behind the curtain. He told Slegna he'd have to face the massive Chris Black in a hardcore grudge match next week's show, and that TyranT would have to defend his title against the incredible Prince TyranT!

As the two malcontents swore at Brawler, he went on to say that the whole show would be a Class of NEW Reunion, a battle of old against new and a chance to see NEW graduates back in the ring against the stars of the future! The show went off the air with Slegna and TyranT still complaining to Brawler.
