FMW Fact Or Fiction

Alright, the staff recommended we start games and have fun. Well here is my attempt to do so. Let's just hope there isn't one of these already floating around.

Over in LPW one of my favorite threads to watch is the Fact or Fiction thread. It is a fun little game that let's people speculate and whatnot while also letting people discuss and share their opinions about characters, angles, and the game in general.

For those unfamiliar with this idea, let me explain. You start out by giving your opinion to the above post with an answer of Fact or Fiction. Then you post a comment of your own for someone else to respond to.

For example if the comment was

Kane and Cena's current program will lead to a Cena heel turn in the near future.

Then you would respond like this.

Fact.

Fact or Fiction: Miz will be WWE Champion again before the end of 2012

Got it? Awesome!

After typing all that out I'll go ahead and start this show.

Fact or Fiction: Chris Austin will be the next Full Metal Champion.

Fact. I always put my money on RCA winning anything, though, so maybe I'm biased.

Fact or Fiction: 2012 will be the year GSW really gets their shit together and becomes a force to be reckoned with.

Fact or Fiction: With all these stables currently in FMW we will see a full on stable war before the end of 2012.

I've gotta say fiction. Most stables self-destruct from within and I have to believe that YNG will be no different. GSW, I'm honestly shocked they've been together this long given the lack of progress they've made (and not all of that is GSW's fault)

Fact or Fiction:

With Eastwood's seemingly Dalby Sound-esque code for garnering title shots, eventually all of these opportunities have to pay off right? So, with that said...

Eastwood will walk out of his next singles title match as the new champion.

FACT

Eastwood is really solid, and I'm honestly a little surprised he didn't take the belt from me when I faced him on two occasions. Anyone who consistently puts up 4.0 range promos is somebody that can win here.

That'd be sweet, but I'm not in the FMC tourney. Though if I were to pick a person to have break the hold... it'd probably be Son of Shark Boy or Paper Bag Man.

Also... fiction. I think SoA are done, with Celt on a different brand and DGS gone.

FACT! It's not rocket science, each stable gets at least one shot at them normally. Less the booking powers that be, see this post and thus rebel against it.

FMW will have a new title some time in 2012.

Fact, especially if the Corruption/Anarchy storyline continues.

FoF: Abel Steele will finally gain the C4 Championship this year.

Fiction. Because with the likes of Skyler, Frost, Austin and Leon on Ammunition too, he'll have a fight for it. But here's to hoping. haha! Truthfully though...FACT!

FoF: The FMW Logo at the top of the forum will change this year?

Fiction. I think the current logo is kind of cool by the way.

Fact or Fiction: Jaro will return and reinstate the Gold Card Gauntlet.

Fiction. That thing is cursed, i think it is better for everyone if it stays retired.

Fact of Fiction, a Nick Bryson vs. Drew Michaels feud will end YNG.

YNG will end when Nick Bryson gets committed to a mental institution by The Celt after a "Straight Jacket Match"

Anwyl will have a long C4 reign before teaming with Abel Steele in the most bad ass tag team in FMW. While Ashburn will take a good run at the UV belt but ultimately be unsuccessful.

Good trash talk will get FMW up and firing again as quickly as any of the other suggestions I've heard so far.

Fact!! And the key word is GOOD!! None of this meaningless banter forward and back, people need to pair off to their matches and feuds and call them out. It's what made HavOc so great. It's what makes every BIG storyline bigger.

FoF: Chris Austin will continue his sublime run of victories through 2012 with a FMC title reign within 1-2 years.

Fact. Forget 1-2 years, I'll be surprised if the FMC eludes him past June.

FoF: Meaningless banter (my specialty by the way) is better than no TT at all.

Fact...but it leaves room to still improve more. It's not so much the quality of TTing, it's who people are TTing. Find a relevant person to your character and start ripping them to shreads, in a way that doesn't pick on their favourite movie or cheesiest quote, but picks apart their ego-tied claim to fame and their ultimate weaknesses in FMW.

You find a mans weaknesses and TT it senselessly. I swear when the match does eventually come about, you'll have an advantage already (See: Drew vs. Skyler, Austin vs. Steele, Dalby Sound vs any rookie)

FoF: is Feedbacking dead in FMW right now? if so, what new initiatives could restart the vital part of FMW?
