| Do you go to the VGC's? I know a whole host of dudes that head to that thing every year. VGC is difficult business, especially this year, since there's no weather teams this time out. Mienshao is one thing I've been seeing a fair bit in VGC11, as well as mental herb Mushaana and Sazandora. For different teams, Mienshao is a good fake out lead, and Mushaana is a TR beast. Sazandora is quite a useful dragon. | |

| So I've just finished the Elite 4, N and Ghetsis. That was an extremely epic finale to the Unova dex period. Quite enjoyed it. I'm loving the fact they're now bringing in blatant references to older games. Mentioning Team Rocket by name got me marking out a bit, and the return of Looker, giving you a Super Rod to help find the Plasma Sages made me lol. | |

| I'm at the second gym now. I'm running Adamant Servine, Adamant Herdier, and Timid Panpour. All of the starters in this game suck hard, so I just went with the one that looked the most badass.
I also need a trade buddy because I needs the Conkeldurrrr.

If you go to the GAME FREAK building with all eight badges and talk to the sound guy you can trigger the G/S team rocket music for a nice walk down memory lane.

I also need a trade buddy because I needs the Conkeldurrrr. Oshawott is head and shoulders above the other two, which isnt hard since water's the best type, but he has the best movepool at fully evolved (Megahorn Fuck Yeah) Also lols for an offensive nature on a defensive pokemon

| Stat-wise sure, but who raises a defensive Pokemon for in-game play. I don't bother with natures in game, though my Serperior's Hasty nature (+ Spe/-Def) was detrimental in the beginning of the game due to all other Pokemon having purely physical attacks. My Gurdurr, however, does have a Jolly nature. Which would be nice, but he's so slow anyways, it hardly matters.
Jaro, are you EV training as well?

| I was trying to download a ROM of each game, but they didn't work. Got as far as the loading screen then it froze. Don't want to have to pay for the game but I might have to. - Rottata wrote:

Let me know when you find one. The ones they have on ROM-freaks don't work.

| What emulator are you using? Pokemon games don't work on No$GBA, the most common DS Emulator. Try DeSmuME instead. | |

| I got an Acekard 2i. It works in the actual DS intself. I've got about 50 different DS games loaded onto it right now. Best $45 I've ever spent. | |

| I've wanted one of those, but playing on the computer is fine for me.
Onto actual game progress, I just beat the Elite Four (Haxorus = Boss), and I'm now in N's Castle.

| Double post: Beat N and Ghetsis, just realizing that all the trainers on post-Elite Four routes have ridiculously high-leveled Pokemon. Where the fuck was this when I wanted to train for the Elite Four? | |

I know Pokemon T_T But to be fair, what I know of B/W is limited to playing 5th gen in competitive and VGC11 format matches, whatever about the ingame life itself

| Yeah, I understand running a defensive Serperior in competitive... but I don't really know why you'd want to run a defensive anything in-game when all that really matters is sweep-sweep-sweep.
Also, without Contrary, I need a Serperior that can stand out with physical offense...
I'm thinking of running Leaf Blade, Dragon Tail, Coil, Leech Seed/Toxic ... probably the best I can do unless I want to use Aerial Ace for Bugs
And Slegna.. wanna trade Girdurrs?

| Got the game about a week ago. Just beat N and Ghetsis last night.
I run with my Samurott, Chandelure, Krookodile, Darmanitan, Zweilous (why do you have to take so long to evolve?!), and either Beartic or Scraggy/Scrafty.
Chandelure is so much win. Will-o-Wisp + Hex gets 'em everytime.

| Current team build;
Zoroark, Hydreigon, Emboar and Volcarona.
I'm planning to rebreed my Richu and Gengar (because their upper case names are irritating me,) as well as replace Emboar with a Dreamworld Snivy if I get lucky enough.

| So, I got halfway through the Abyssal Ruins before I realized that I should've been making a map to track where I've been. Fortunately Google saved my ass, and now my character is rich as fuck.
Haven't done much with my team lately, though I think I'm going to start tracking down Tornadus.
Also, Matt, stop changing your name for fuck's sake.
EDIT: So I'm still not 100% sure how the Entralink and shit works, but here's my friend code for Wi-Fi stuff: 0905 2171 3730

| If you think it's running slow now, wait until you get to Castelia City.
When I downloaded the Japanese ROM back in September (on a fast computer, no less), it slowed down big time once I got there.
On a different note, just caught Volcarona. Took me just one Dusk Ball to do it. Next up is finding a Sandslash in Relic Castle, and then I'm peacing out of that place for good.

| It's winter!
Just wandered around Twist Mountain for a bit. Good fucking God that place would've been easy had I originally gone through during this season. Icirrus City was pretty sweet too, a whole bunch of new items to grab, plus another Team Rocket reference.

| Gots me a decent Scolipede at the moment. High Attack, High Speed, Poison Point, Swords Dance, X-Scissor, Poison Jab, and Venoshock. The only Bug I've ever been interested in using. | |

| I'm kind of taking this one slow. I've gotten through everything...Haven't found all 7 sages or whatnot. After I beat the Elite four I started breeding and now I'm raising a team of pokemon from level one, and eventually will beat the league with the team. so yeah. | |
