FMW's Ultimate Battle Royal: Rules/Selection Thread

Alrighty. In case anyone ever gets bored, I've come up with a solution. At one of my old forums we had a game called the Ultimate Battle Royal, and I'm bringing it back! The rules are as follows:

There will be a considerably large selection of real-life wrestlers (WWE, TNA, indy wrestlers, everyone) selected by members of the FMW community. This list could go up to 100/200+ wrestlers (or even over 9000 ). Then, post by post, members can vote -2 to one wrestler on the list and +1 to a different member on the list. When a wrestler has zero points, they are eliminated. Every wrestler will start with TEN points. A scoreboard will be kept in the first post of the thread when it is eventually created so you can view who you can still vote for. I'll administrate the game (editing the first post, announcing eliminations). You MAY double post, but only ONE POST EVERY HOUR.

In this thread, I'm asking for nominations to be in the game. Obviously the WWE/TNA rosters will take part, but I want loads of suggestions - Japan, Indy feds, legends, anyone who's a real life wrestler. Anyone not involved with the wrestling industry is excluded, as is anyone who isn't a regular character on TV/in a fed. Dead people are also excluded. Don't be stupid and nominate yourself. Once I get a pretty thorough list, we'll start the game.

At my old forum we made 56 pages before the match ended, I believe that Steve Corino emerged the victor.

I'm confident we'll get it done.

Although there are a bucketload of people I've never heard of here. Maybe we should narrow it down to 100 tops or something? Might make sure we finish the game that way.

I'd definitely cap this shit at like 250. Some of these people (like lol Caylen Croft) are never gonna win.

I'd even argue that 100 is too many. With +10 each, 100 participants and the +1/-2 feature. Using simply maths its going to be around 1,000 posts (and thats even more than the OOC thread has to date). So my suggestion is keep the 100 participants, yet reduce the +10 to a max of +5.

No. 5 points is too few. 100 people will be fine, I'll compose the list later tonight, although it WILL probably exclude many of the people whose names aren't well known.

I've gone back and bolded the wrestlers from my list I'd like to see included in this.

PX, Doublemummy, if you bold the ones in your list you want to REALLY be in there then I'll make a note to include them.

I've bolded the ones I really want in. And yes I do realise that I left Andy Douglas in even though for health reasons he has had to retire, but he has been one of my favourite wrestlers for years now so I think it's only fair that I include him.

And I'll Murderbomb Skyler if he sees fit that the Nasty Boys and NXT rookies get priority over the more kickass Indies.
