| With all the trouble with Robb exploding the old boards right after I posted it, this announcement could have been lost on some people. Regardless, if you haven't heard the announcement, or heard a rumor of the like, then this is for you (and others who have seen it).
In just over 30 hours, I enlist in the Australian Army, where I'll be moved up to Kapooka, which is an hour and a half north of Wodonga, and two hours south west of Canberra, in the outback of New South Wales. I'll be undertaking basic soldier training with the army for the next three months, where I'll have next to no chance to communicate with the outside world.
This means I'm leaving the FMW community, indefinately. I'll be able to pop in sporadically and say Hi, but realistically, I don't know when I can rock up.
When will I return? Will I return? Yes. I will. But I don't know when. Sometime a fair way down the track, you'll see Smitten return to the ring. (Or not, it may be someone new, you never know.) In the mean time, Smitten's staying on as the Commissioner, and I'll pop in where I can to help him "remind" you all of this.
So, for now, this is it. I would like to thank many many people, but there's too many people to name individually. But, there are a small group of people I'd like to call out for being the biggest influences on my e-fedding career. Styxx, who took me under his wing when I was a very, very raw tallent. Jaro, for giving me more chances than I ever deserved, including my first back when I was a real shit newb back in the old PWA days. Nick Bryson, for his consistantly honest and criticall feedback. Drew Michaels, for his guidance and assistance whenever I needed it. Thank you four specifically. But thank you to everyone who's helped me, chatted to me, or even just supported me.
It's been a blast to entertain you all with what I've done. Let's do it again some time.

| This reminds me of a day where we spend one great day out in the sun, we enjoy a nice swim, some music, some friends, even some food. However, we forget the sunscreen.
Did we have fun? Of course.
When we wake up from the nights sleep and realize we have a sunburn, does it hurt any less? Of course not.
That's is what I'll compare this to. Tromboner Man, Smitten, both have been legends in their own rights. Both have been great characters in two strong feds. What was the major accomplishment e-fed wise? Was it the LPW Tag Titles? The Gold Card Gauntlet? Maybe the FMW Championship? None of that. By far the greatest accomplishment is the people you've motivated, the people you've improved, the people you've faced who have stepped to your level, the people you've helped in NEW, and with feedback.
Now your life could be remembered for the work you do in the Aussie Military, a new career, a great career which is admirable on all accounts. We salute you for it, you're leaving us as The Honorable Christian G. Smitten, and you'll comeback as a soldier, maybe of a higher rank, someone who will experience things most of us only dream.
We will miss you Ben, we really will. But we all know it our hearts that you will come back stronger than ever, and we are all proud of you.
Congrats Ben, you're one hell of a man sir.

Don't do this, this is a terrible terrible idea. Anyway Bone Bone, me and you started out around the same time albeit in way different ways and I'm always going to regret that we never really got to have a feud or really face each other in anyway besides one off matches. You are constantly one of the best promoers I have ever known, but more importantly one of the better people I've ever known. You're one of the rocks that held this place together and FMW is going to be that much worse without you. Best of luck in the military Ben, and remember to stop and beat a person to death with a trombone once in a while, it's the little things in life that matter Robert aka Alex O aka Eric Ares.

I wish you all the best in your endeavors, and I wait for the day that FMW can officially be Lawyered by you.
Good Luck, sir. You and your exceptional promos, contributions, etc...will be missed.

| Whether you've been in a group for years or just a few months, one thing is always the same ... It's hard to say goodbye to a true talent. And YOU Ben, are a true talent in this game.
I have loved every promo and comment on the TT board you have posted since my arrival. I will definitely miss them.
Good luck with the Army and come back to us all safe, in one piece and very soon.

But anyway, I'm not the best at these things. You will be missed, Mr. Boner. Come back in one piece, y'hear?

| The French don't say goodbye they say au revoir.... Enjoy basic training mate, in fact i know someone else who has also just started basic training. You have been a great writer and someone who always pushed his opponent to the limit, as you did with me many times. Most enjoyable person i have faced and i will miss TBM most of all... being my arch nemisis and all. Til we see you again. -Tom | |

It has all been said before but you will be missed. As your most recent opponent I must say that it was truly an honour and a priviledge to face off with you. You inspired me to push myself harder than before
Good luck with the basic training and make sure you come back when you are ready to step back in the "ring"

| I said this on AIM and I'll say it again.
TBM/CGS was one of the core men of FMW and from the first promo of his that I read, I was hooked.
You are a wonderous writer and a truly hilarious Auzzie. Good luck serving our beautiful Nation and I'm sure we'll hear from you sometime in the future.

The adventures of skittles and tbm now come to a close. :'(

| Hello Everyone. I'm yet to read a show but I'm sure Christian G. Smitten by some way or another is your glorious World Heavyweight Champion.
Annd as your FMW Heavyweight Champ, I'm just to update you all on where I'm at.
I've finished Basic Training, and I'm now an Australian Soldier. I'm back in Melbourne for my Corps specific training, which so far, I'm enjoying. It''s a great job, and I'm loving it.
I'm still a LONG way off returning, I don't have regular internet access by a long way, and won't for a while, but as soon as I can, I'll be back, ready and raring to roar!
Until then though, I should be sporadically around, catching up on the excitement I've missed. I'm having real trouble logging into LoP for some reason, so I've sent something to Headbanger to post there.
Happy E-Fedding all. Catch me on the book of faces.
