State of a Quebecer's address

Ladies, gentlemen and freaks, I, Christophe "Kelson" St-Laurent, hereby announce that due to a general lack of will to write promos, I am retiring from active competition in FMW. It's been a blast, but it's felt like a chore to write a promo during the last few shows. However, there are good news; I am NOT leaving FMW. I will stay around doing what I've always done, which is match writing, roster updating, eWrestling Wiki updating, and so on and so forth. Also, I will try to get more involved with the booking and such, if you guys will permit me.

Now back to your scheduled programming.

Can we please just make a Leave of Absence board?

Furthermore, what do you attribute to the burnout, Kelson?

Glad you're not gonna disappear completely ... after all who else would update the eWikia page? lol. Seriously though I really am glad you're gonna stay around.

I'm glad we've had a chance to chat over the past couple weeks. While I'm sad to see you leave competition, considering I've always respected Kelson's style of competition and TTing, I'm glad to know a nice guy like you will stick around. Cheers my friend

Yeah but you stopped so I think it's safe to say he's the one who's kept it going I'm not trying to be a bitch, I'm just pointing out the facts.

Nothing. Happens.

Last I talked to him he said promo writing became a chore to him.

I don't care what ANYONE says, I'm getting his 5 FMPs.

And Kelson, I expect you back here when you've recharged. You're too smart to just leave forever.

As many of you know Kelson and I haven't always seen eye to eye, that being said I have a lot to thank Kelson for. Kelson gave me my first real FMW match, he helped me find a certain stride that has kept me going for the past couple of shows. He was also a real team player on staff, and he did update our wikis more than anyone else that comes to mind. In the long run, he did a lot for us and we should thank him for that.

So thank you Kelson, and may we see you down the road.

Which is why I'm inquiring. Before this becomes some major drop down argument for everyone, let it be known;

You do NOT need to write long promos to be successful. Case and point? Jaro.

Length does not equate to quality necessarily.

Hey, I'm keeping those FMPs They might be useful some day Also, I really dropped out because, like Ed said, promo writing became a chore to me. I'll be more involved with FMW backstage and all and, if I get the chance to have an actual story to tell that'll make promo writing something fun to do again, I'll be back.

Typical of a Frenchie to give up.
