Happy Holidays!

Hello FMW,

I'm back in Cleveland for the time being and Im using my vacation time to have the week off. I've been fairly busy during the holidays, but now that that shindigs basically said and done I wanted to update you guys on what Ive been doing here.

I'm working on writing corruption by my onesie, I'm looking to have it up by like the 30th. However, I've been reaching out to some people, and if I havent gotten to you yet it could be because things like Facebook dislike working on my computer and dont always send messages, about how involved you all would like to be in the fed and what you would like to see going.

To be frank, I have had the discussion with Edible about just closing shop. The fact of the matter is that theres been a continual increase of expectations that he and I would 'just get it done' but the fact of the matter is, unless you guys are content with something like 1 show a month, that can't happen.

I'm honestly like begging now, but we need you other guys to step up to incourage participation. The fact of the matter is that I cant sit down and write all the shows, reach out to people for their characters and direction, and then write your guys' promos and TT too.

We have a good fed. To be honest, except for a small few people, everyone we put on the last cards were people who told me they were 'committed' to the fed and willing to participate. Now, I understand it was the holiday card (which is generally slow as it is) but last turnout was just poor. No other way of saying it.

I know Edible's post basically showed that hes nearing the end of his rope and I'm not one to hide that I would like to groom replacements for the both of us. The reason why I stay here throughtout everything is because I really believe that FMW exists because people who are here want to be here for whatever their reasons. FMW is their preference because they dont like how things are run elsewhere, its a fun creative outlet, we have great shows, what have you. All of that is true, but the fact is that two people cant be the only driving force behind it.

So, basically, I'm going to continue reaching out to those of you and talking to you about your opinions and positions on the fed. I know I've already talked to a few of you about everything, but Id like to talk to everyone I can privately.

At the end of the day, FMW has had its slow periods and its up periods. Continuing with the string of honesty, I think that over the past 1 1/2 - 2 years, we've put on our best work with some of our most interesting angles, memorable characters, and getting people new opportunities that they havent had before. Not to mention that, up until recently, we were producing shows just aboust faster than we had ever done, but at the end of the day you get out of this place what you give. Don't think Im trying to make people take on the entirety of what I take on and don't think of this as an angry 'you should feel ashamed' post either, its really more of a 'please help me' thing. I've got plans and ideas, but frankly I cant do it all myself anymore.

You guys are all my friends first and foremost and as long as Im around, FMW will exist in some fashion, which I think is important for you all to understand.

Happy New Year, everyone. I'm all for keeping the fed going, but as I post this, there have been fewer than five people on the site in the last 24 hours. As much as it pains me to say so, part of me thinks it might be time to call it.

Well then, to all you folks who can see this, let's continue with the logic that started this thread.

I really don't think anyone here wants to see this game end. In fact I sincerely believe that should that happen several of us would not have another place to go indulge in this hobby, and before the whole "Let's all just go to LPW" logic gets tossed around consider this, there are several folks here who won't ever go over there for whatever reason. Let's respect that instead of making a decision like that for everyone, after all, you wouldn't want someone to do that to you right?

Now, with this in mind let's actually have a full on public discussion about what we can do to save this game and maybe even make it better. Let's do so constructively without a bunch of finger pointing or mudslinging. Let's do this right and let's do this friendly.

I do not want this place to close. Thats my initial say on the matter. Now, in terms of people not logging onto the site, why would the I only log on when alerted by facebook yhat theres something to actually view. If what it rakes is someone to help out with writing, I'm on board. I've only not offered before because I don't feel I have enough experience of this, or the characters. Lets keep this going amd churn out some shows. Get people interested again. I haven't even been in a Mount Vesuvius match yet!!! I wanna get there!

I know I'm about as new as it gets around here, and on top of that I no showed my first match... Not exactly a compelling start to my time in FMW. I have been dealing with a major issue that I would rather not discuss publicly, and I sincerely apologize for my absence. I am willing to help out in whatever way necessary to help this place continue running, but I am still dealing with my issue, and there will be times over the next 6 months or so that my contributions may be severely limited due to circumstances beyond my control.

My suggestion for an increase in activity? How about some sort of "reboot"? Apparently at least some of the FMW family are somewhat disillusioned with the current state of affairs. I won't lie and say that I know the ins and outs of every storyline running right now, and, to be quite honest, I like the ones I'm familiar with. However, if we took the time to go back to square one with some things, we might be able to rebuild a bit of enthusiasm.

I know I'm not active right now but I'd hate to see this place end.

I agrre totally that re-boot is absolutely on the cards. We have had so much talent flow out the door. Virtually no Title holders left and only enough staff/competitors for one show.

Lets use this thread to as Levi suggests and nut out what that looks like.

I vote that we throw up a new show rather than keeping Ammunition, Corruption or Anarchy. If we are going to reboot let's do it properly.

Maybe Alchemy??? I like the way Alchemy relates to gold and has a hint of the fact GSW maybe won a bit of the war... Also gives a good story for a start point on the re-boot.

I vote that we put in a head writer who is going to be active. I don't mean once a month I mean 3 times a week. Whoever takes control needs to be on and contributing regularly. As important as putting out quality shows is and knowing that they take time it is still important theat the HW is on regularly to answer quetsions, discuss stories, etc.

At this point I like the work Braxton put out and would encourage Bryson to consider making Braxton HW.

Also if it will help keep the place alive I will return to active duty & do what I can for staff. The key is to get some energy up.

This is really what we need here.

The fact of the matter is I'm begging for help and its not just with show stuff, but I've honestly had nobody really able to take the step forward for whatever reasons. We need people coming forward like this.

We have a good plan, I feel, to move forward that doesn't involve any drastic changes immediately, which gets us the chance to help close things out smoothly. As far as title holders and the like go, the only one currently in the air is the fmc. All of the current title holders I know are people who are committed to participating.

What is needed is a staff. Edible and I, again, wrote almost the entirety of the last ppv. Edible is going to stick with writing and all, but he is looking to not be HW for amm anymore, so I'll take on the duties of directing that until I find someone who wants to make that commitment.

The biggest issue is that at the end of the day I need other people to encourage activity too. I'm honestly only one guy and I can only do so much. As I said in the first post, I've got a lot of ideas and a plan I think can be implemented but I need to know people want to step up and take on the extra responsibility before I just start putting things out there.

As it stands this place will continue to move forward at whatever pace we can make it until we cam find our time to kick start it back into gear again and have another monster year like we did before.

On a side note, apologies for anything that's misspelled or an incorrect word, I just figured out how to get fmw to work on my phone

In the end I'll work with anything going forward I'd just hate to see this place close its doors. I only suggest a reboot to get some new energy and put the past few months behind us.

Nick please have a look at your inbox. I for one am ready to fill some of the breach and I implore anyone else who is interested in doing so to make it known in here or via PM to Nick what, when and how much you are willing to do to help.

We need to get the ball rolling here within a week or two or we lose momentum again and I don't think the site will survive that.

I'm liking Abel & Sixx' idea of the reboot and naming it Alchemy. I think one of the first things we should do is see who's on board and go from there. Afterwards maybe have Braxton, Edible & Nick as the Head Writers/Bookers that way if something goes wrong, we still have the other one or two HW to keep things running smoothly. My final suggestion is if FMW is to move forward, whoever is involved has to be a lot more open about things so if I think Sixx is a fucking asshole(which I dont and am just using him as an example) just come out and way it and why? We're all adults for the most part so I think it's best if any issues that do arise get solved on the spot.

I'm in but not sure as to what capacity. Life's been hectic for a variety of reasons but I hope you all are doing well.
